When you guys killed and ate the black dragon, I was like, damn that was badass, but when I heard the former royal family was planning on shooting the silver king out of the sky and gut him, I was horrified.
According to Wikipedia: "Jacobins, along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants of the rock pigeon." Even as a pigeon, Panic will rock.
I know someone already pointed it out on stream, but I think it's worth mentioning here, too, that when they ask WHY SK did what he did, his answer was "Because _I am humbled._ " We may or may not collectively recall Task hearing the aged golden dragonborn at the temple whispering/chanting the same phrase in draconic over and over as Task was leaving.... Also, the mysterious visitor to the Sweet Dragon back when Tiengo was being weird--SK in disguise, or maybe the Exiled Prince in disguise? With Monty seemingly small details tend to have a fair chance of becoming important later on....('cause she's a friggin' awesome story-crafter!)
Meta Nexus #001 Yeah and also the part where Solly was worried about spies being in Alivast. And then she looks at Hellina. I was like "Oh dang! Could there out of the slimmest of chances that Hellina is not as down on her luck as she lets on and perhaps be doing some espionage?" If so then....hooo boy there is gonna be hot chili peppers going down in this arc!
Hard to say...if she is working undercover, then it's DEEP cover, because she really was starving to death in the alleyway...that and Lys was the one who pointed the Lads in Helena's direction to begin with. I don't think Monty's sadistic enough in this campaign to have the redemption event and then have Helena turn out to be irredeemable. This whole thing has been about second chances and learning to trust people, after all...it'd be pretty crazy to turn it around like that, y'know?
Meta Nexus #001 Indeed which is why for now, I'm giving Hellina the benefit of doubt. But oooooh you best believe I am keeping tabs on her until the Orun Clergy decides to go "Avatar Fire Nation" on Alivast. (If they decide to) Only then will we see what her true colors are.
I'm still saying Willow is an Eltmer princess until proven wrong. Reasons: Knows how to read and use magic even though women weren't allowed to do either. Even to the point that she made a ring that saved the guys in Dulmar's house. She's been to operas before and her family has had extravagant birds that she's cared for before. Her mother taught Willow how to dance well. She was good teacher but not much else(ep12). didnt want her name anymore(ep.28) so she's ashamed of it or it has negative connotation connected with it.
If shes a bastard it could explain why she had to look after the birds since it could be seen as a servant task. As for the 1st guy who was mugging her on the 1st episode it could have just been a random thug. He had stolen her book but we dont really know much about him since we haven't seen or heard of him since.
If Willow is anything like Doros, she was originally a one-off NPC that the party took a liking to and her backstory was developed after the fact. The random mugger that attacked her was probably just that - random. And then she slowly became more involved with the party.
i always love when characters(maybe even the players?) only hear part of the storys but never react properly to the whole, like Remmy rambling about the Silver king being asleep and only doing stuff cause he was going to be attacked ,completly ignoring the fact that they also learned that the silver king only learned of how bad the state of the country was in AFTER he got on the throne.
I love how suspicious and ready to pin everything on the Silver King the guys are before he even does anything. Saying he was holding his power over Alavast when he hadn't said a single thing about it the entire time; wondering why he was wanting resources to protect Alavast when he didn't before; even as he hadn't asked for anything yet as far as they knew.
greckles said "do you think an ancient dragon could stop an entire nation, but the silver king has his own nation and if married to sully would also have help from alivast.
Our dear Connor has finally succumbed to his D&D addiction! Four games? within 3 days? erm, for longer? which ones? i wanna binge :D That is still ricilous though!
Ones on Lani channel (it has been reuploaded to the tfsgaming channel) and another.... Well I don't know if it's uploaded on TH-cam but it's on Tabikato twitch, where Connor plays as a shardmind.
It's honestly amazing to me how many girls I've found obsessed with pigeons in recent years. Not that there's anything wrong with it. It just is interesting that it's now a trend. I do appreciate it for the comedy aspect so keep it up.
Random thought, but it is surprising how many jobs the employees of The Sweet Dragon would lose if just a single person had both the mending and prestidigitation cantrips. Smashed beer stein? Mending. Broken bar stool? Mending. Dirty glasses? Prestidigitation. Got a spill to clean up? Prestidigitation. Got a stain on your shirt? Prestidigitation. Honestly Panic could get that place spotless on his own just casting prestidigitation everywhere.
When Remy heard the reason why the Silver King saved Eltmur his reaction reminded me of folks who thought why the Eagles in LOTR didn’t do all the work in saving the world. Mortal problems = mortal solution IMO. Dragons, Fey, Giants and the like aren’t obligated to solve mortal tyranny.
OMG, I would absolutely LOVE it if they actually did go on an adventure with the little old lady, and it turns out she's a hugely badass retired adventurer that can more than pull her own weight on a quest.
Terminal velocity's not the speed that will kill you when you hit the ground, Monty, it's when air resistance and gravity are exerting equal force on you.
Aaaaaargh.. Task can be just as edgy as Greckles sometimes. "hey silver king, I heard you like stories" "Actually, I enjoy the spirit and perserverence it takes you to be able to live to tell these stories" "Meh. That's cool, A Blue Dragon slaughtered my clan. Yolo"
Mark Allen True. But Task has more of a reason to be a bit edgy. He LITERALLY lived under a rock. He came from the Underdark, and was a soldier, so of course he's a little extra hardass. It can be annoying but it's excusable. Greckles can just be an annoying dick for no reason. It's ironic how the thieving rogue hates doing anything fun or interesting because it might upset his guard buddies. And gets mad at Borky for doing mildly reckless things but any time he does anything illegal. It's just "rogue stuff" and Greckles just being his 'adorable lil self'
After a month of bingeing i finally caught up to the series and omg i love all of it so far! Finally started this after watching Tfs@the table for so long and im glad i did. Y'all are awesome!
Thing 1 - Might just be me, but it seems like the Silver King thinks all the people of Eltmer are his trove... and woe be unto the one who gets between a dragon and his trove... On a lighter note, thing 2 is that they need to get the dwarves to lightning proof their place. XD
I know it's a late comment but I do a lot of drawing, so depending if you see this I'm going to work on a realistic pigeon drawing of borky. I have the image in my head and I'm excited to draw this up.
1:32:00 there was only one other piece of information I think should’ve been given to the pigeonmancer, (do admittedly it was a long while back) in the center of Ginters Farley in the attic of a barn were a bunch of bags that were full of Fleur-de-mort’s seeds. Provided there would’ve been somewhere for him to safely get there it would be evidence that the unexpectable‘s were telling the truth.
Always interesting watching the party assume the absolute worst in someone and then Monty has to slowly scoop them back on the right track. "No, this person is genuine."
It’s weird that they assume the worst of the Silver Dragon. While it’s good to remain cautious I hope their paranoia doesn’t hurt their chances for potential allies.

takahata101 So wait, I know about this one and Lani's, but what others D&D campaigns is snake in?
takahata101 I like gaijin but it feels weird hearing him on a d and d campaign cool though and still awesome unexpectables
When you guys killed and ate the black dragon, I was like, damn that was badass, but when I heard the former royal family was planning on shooting the silver king out of the sky and gut him, I was horrified.
I can’t believe the Silver King is both vanilla flavored Ganondorf and the Dragon Lord Of Dad Jokes.
Task pocketed a baby before Greckles
But Greckles could have had he wanted to, and I think that's the real moral of the story here...
Bheo Wolfe
Oh my goodness
The moment Panic went "Boo!" I had multiple panic attacks. I guess he lives up to his name.
Mass Nesspz I thought it was task
I was hoping that when Panic told Borky to be himself that he just walked up and suplexed the Silver King
AHappyNobody Borky is stupid, but not that stupid
lOGAN sTEWART not to mention, not that hostile
According to Wikipedia: "Jacobins, along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants of the rock pigeon."
Even as a pigeon, Panic will rock.
Not surprised
I am 110% convinced that Tubbs will end up being the super secret final boss of this series.
Tubbs feeling betrayed by everyone but borky seeks revenge. They all struggle to beat him while borky is trying to hug him.
Tubbs grows massively like Tetsuo from Akira
I guess you were right, kind of?
@@travisbloom2226 Im sorry what?

Her mother taught Willow how to dance well. She was good teacher but not much else(ep12).
didnt want her name anymore(ep.28) so she's ashamed of it or it has negative connotation connected with it.
It's possible she could be a bastard child to a royal.
Was it ever established who was attacking her when she was introduced? Would make sense if muscle was hired to take her home.
If shes a bastard it could explain why she had to look after the birds since it could be seen as a servant task.
As for the 1st guy who was mugging her on the 1st episode it could have just been a random thug. He had stolen her book but we dont really know much about him since we haven't seen or heard of him since.
I'm saying it isn't possible you showed some good evidence but I say it's more likely that she comes from sort of family of high nobility
If Willow is anything like Doros, she was originally a one-off NPC that the party took a liking to and her backstory was developed after the fact. The random mugger that attacked her was probably just that - random. And then she slowly became more involved with the party.
Bet there is a blue dragon in that egg.
Like the silver king said to task can you love what toke away you family.
Not sure that's what "toke" means.
argantosnl well Tarusk was a blue drake, so that would make sense
Shea Kennedy-Ordway took, not toke, I'd guess.
but tarus wasn't THE dragon that took them
DxXOrangesXxD no, but Task has shown a grudge against dragons as a species.

Me: my, I've heard better jokes from a bard making a goblin cry.
I think Panic keeps forgetting that they run a tavern, not an inn.
TheLangenator This clearly a sign they need to become both. Inns for everyone!
If they had enough AC they could probably make it an Inn.
I don't think Panic has ever called it a Tavern. He's only ever called it an Inn, which Monty has said it probably won't be until late game.
Monty you are sending us very mixed messages on your feelings on Tubbs.
