OFFTOPIC, BUT IMPORTANT INFO: my hard drive with pretty much all my .veg projects (10 years of work!), rendered vids (so I can’t even reupload anything), all manips, most of converted scenes/shows/movies, all overlays, sound fx and music is dead. It has been dead since November. Like, I even lost my logo, hence the new one. This is why I never published the second b-day collab and have been generally MIA. I don’t have the money to take it to the good company which specializes in retrieving the data from dead drives, and the cheaper one couldn’t do it. If I don’t retrieve the files, one video in five months from the fandom I barely touched before is about all you can expect from me, ‘cause it would take me like half a year if not more of 24/7 downloading, converting and cutting out to start from scratch with everything you’ve subbed me for. This is why I will be uploading a vid for donations some time next week, but I have no idea how to do it better, since I’m in Russia and I’m pretty sure those of you who would like to help and see more vids from me aren’t. If you know of a good way to transfer money without going to the fund-raising sites, please do tell. Or a good fund-raising site without hidden pitfalls. I’ve never done something like this before, but I’m desperate and I miss vidding, I just don’t have time and energy to start anew.
hallo ! have you tried to plug it in external on a MacIntosh ? They are best at reading failed HDD (before labs of course), BTW, great vid, the music is awesome.
