*for anyone going into freshman year of high school*
oh damn freshman yearrr 😂 u prolly don't need advise but I'll give u some just in case ( i just finished freshman year)
1st upper class men won't bully u, idk y a lot of ppl think they will, but in reality they r very nice
2nd first day of school don't take ALL your supplies cuz u will look funny since u won't need anything and u will 100% look like a freshman which u don't want to look like
3rd try to at least make 1 friend in every class, it will make it easier to survive freshman year
4th. Attend a lot of school activities with ur friends, like hoco, or football games, basketball games, also try to join at least one club going to all of these will make freshman year very fun, like some ppl tell me freshman year was boring but they didn't do anything!!!
5th always be positive! Its just a good thing to have in hs
6th don't stress too much about school, have a balance between school, friends, and after school activities. Tbh freshman year is the easiest so try to enjoy it
7th be yourself!!!
8th. U got this! Freshman year WILL FLY BY no joke so enjoy it the best u can, soon u will be a sophomore.
Those 9 months of freshman year really felt like 3 months I enjoyed every second, I hope u do 2!
PS: TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS TO HAVE MEMORIES TBH THE BEST TO HAVE AND BE ABLE TO LOOK BACK AT (unless ur school is very strict on phone) cuz like mine doesn't care 😂

Advice:
If you want less things in your backpack but still want to have everything you need, this is basically all you need.
- a 3 subject notebook
- a 1 subject notebook for math (or other heavy note taking classes)
- One 1.5 in binder (if you prefer using them)
- 2-3 folders
- pencils, pens, and highlighters
This is just all the basics that will make your back not break :)

thats not for everyone cause i have an average of 8 classes a day (a total of 14) meaning i need at least 4 notebooks and maybe 5 textbooks and most of those classes require a binder so sadly the only thing i can do for my back is get a lightweight backpack :)
haha i bring one binder and that’s it 😂 for all my seven classes
@@sophiakaberou6051 i will prolly have to buy like 14 A5 notebooks and we also have textbooks and workbooks, that weight a LOT. in one day we carry at least 5-7 textbooks 2-3 workbooks and at least 5-7 notebooks. we also have to carry our calculators and pencil cases and planner. so we're kind of dying...

I think for me though I know what stuff I like and what I don't like to write with and use for school. like I know I only like to write notes on graph paper so whats the point in buying college ruled. I know I also don't like to use colored pens, only black pens.
Fr lol when I was going to my freshman year I bought a lot of school supplies and all colorful now I’m going to my senior year and I just bought a folder and pens all black
I’ll always act like a freshman. I love stationary and school supplies. I’m going into grade 10 (sophomore year) and nothing has changed, besides the fact that I’ve learned one thing: only use one, big binder. My backpack was way too heavy last year, and by the end of the year I just used one, big binder for all my classes. Other than that, l’ll always buy a bunch of pens, notebooks, pencils, etc😂
it must be nice only needing one binder lol. my IB Psychology class requires a 3 inch thick binder just for the single class (she a thiccy).
Lol, for me when i went into 6th and 7th grade, i got so many supplies and went full on. Then i was homeschooled for 8th grade and then back to public school for 9th,and i got just re used stuff and all i really buy is a notebook, im now a Junior/senior and lmoa i couldn't care less about supplies

honestly you don’t need as much things when going into freshman year, i would say to wait to buy your stuff because you get a list of materials that you need from your teachers ! I’m becoming a sophomore ;)
i still bought everything but only binders and pencils and color pencils because i got the same teacher that does science coloring sheets
#1 is SUPER cute. I would like for you to get #1 because it has more space, its bigger, you can be more organized because of all the pockets, and Victoria Secret Pink backpacks are popular 💗

The amount of pens and pencils... I show up the first day with the half pencil I used to write my exams from the year before. Even then that's a solid maybe.
2 bc the victoria’s secret pink one isn’t that durable, heard from many people in my school and i have the same north face backpack just a different color and have been using it for 3 years and it’s still brand new! no rips, tears, or anything! the colors are still bright & fun :) really recommend the north face if you want a long lasting backpack
Backpack #1: Trust me PINK collegiate backpacks have tons of space. I didn’t use one for my Freshman year but, I am for my Sophomore year. One of my friends used one during our Freshman year & she said that the backpack, “feels great, has tons of pockets for organization and it’s cute”! But, do good your Freshman year & I hope you have fun!
When it comes to colors and markers i love LOVE getting the pack with 50+ because I'd go nuts using the regular 12 colors
I have a grey version of the pink one and so far it's lasted me 3 years and it's super durable! I recommend it. I'd go with a neutral color so as your style channges the bag will be fine

I know this video is old but this is a list of advice for you all going in as a freshman this year.
Don’t go all out on supplies, you’ll barely use your locker so no need to decorate, wait until the first week when you meet teachers so you’ll know what to get for the specific class, lastly get involved.
