Poreč und Vrsar -Istrien/Kroatien-

Die Stadt Poreč oder italienisch Parenzo ist eine der bedeutendsten Küstenstädte an der Westküste der Halbinsel Istrien in Kroatien. Die Stadt hat etwa 17.000 Einwohner. Das wohl bedeutendste Bauwerk in Poreč ist das Bischofsgebäude mit der Euphrasius-Basilika, das von der UNESCO in das Weltkulturerbe aufgenommen wurde. Die Altstadt ist absolut sehenswert!
Nicht so bekannt wie Poreč ist die märchenhafte Kleinstadt Vrsar. Sie liegt direkt am Limski Kanal in der Region Istrien zwischen den Städten Porec und Rovinj. Die mittelalterliche Stadt ist schon länger kein Geheimtipp mehr unter Kroatienkennern, was an der Schönheit und Einzigartigkeit des zauberhaften Urlaubsortes liegt.

The town of Poreč or Parenzo in Italian is one of the most important coastal towns on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia. The city has about 17,000 inhabitants. Probably the most important building in Poreč is the bishop's building with the Euphrasian Basilica, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The old town is absolutely worth seeing!
The fairytale town of Vrsar is not as well known as Poreč. It is located directly on the Lim Channel in the Istrian region between the towns of Porec and Rovinj. The medieval town has long since ceased to be an insider tip among those who know Croatia, which is due to the beauty and uniqueness of the magical holiday destination.

Grad Poreč ili talijanski Parenzo jedan je od najvažnijih obalnih gradova na zapadnoj obali istarskog poluotoka u Hrvatskoj. Grad ima oko 17.000 stanovnika. Vjerojatno najvažnija građevina u Poreču je biskupska zgrada s Eufrazijevom bazilikom koja je uvrštena na UNESCO-ov popis svjetske baštine. Stari grad apsolutno vrijedi vidjeti!
Bajkoviti grad Vrsar nije toliko poznat kao Poreč. Nalazi se neposredno na Limskom kanalu u Istarskoj regiji između gradova Poreča i Rovinja. Srednjovjekovni grad odavno više nije insajder tip među hrvatskim poznavateljima, čemu zaslužna ljepota i jedinstvenost čarobne destinacije za odmor.

Istrien ist eine Reise wert! Wir wollten uns da sogar mal niederlassen, meine Frau ist Kroatin. Sorry für die späte Antwort. Wir waren insgesmt 5 Monate im Ausland, davon 3 ohne Handy und Internet.
