LiftMaster 8550 and 87504

Here’s a video of a first generation LiftMaster 8550 and a LiftMaster 87504. The openers are installed on Amarr garage doors. By the way, my next video will celebrate the 11th year anniversary of my LiftMaster 8355.

Something is definitely wrong with that second door, the way it squeaks

I know. It squeaks because the top panel and the rail are scraping against each other during operation.

They don’t need to make the roof higher. On one side of the door, the ceiling is lower than the other side probably because of vents. If it was possible to move the vents and raise the ceiling, the opener would fit properly.

@@EveyRBLX I didn’t notice that the opener is offset. I noticed that the opener is tilted.
