The Mighty Dells - 1990 Carter Baron Amphitheater, Washington, D.C. (FULL CONCERT)

This video represents the first time I was able to video The Mighty Dells LIVE in Concert. I did so from my seat and the video captures the audience's perspective and response (however annoying) in real time. The Mighty Dells' bass singer, Chuck Barksdale, noted that Washington, D.C. was their second home as his brother lived here and falsetto singer Johnny Carter has a daughter here. I was honored to have met The Mighty Dells on many occasions when they came to town and I even played golf with lead singer Marvin Junior's son, Marvin Junior, Jr. at several Ben E. King Celebrity Golf Tournaments and Old School Concerts fundraisers. What a joy and treat being around the group that gave me the hit song "Stay In My Corner", for my first "slow dance" in 1968.
