@@NN-Silvercrowyou're right, but he never said this sixer was playing Adventure. It was a different one, 665411 playing that game during the battle scene.
Another thing I noticed was that after Samantha and Wade met in person for the first time, she gave her avatar Art3mis the same facial marking she had on her face in real life, because of the confidence and reassurance that Wade gave her.
1. It's not pong it's Gorf 2. Ioi is a reference to LoL, binary has to have at least 4 bits for a nibble and 8 bits for a byte... Nothing in binary uses 3 bits for anything.
Just watched this last night and I'll recant this if I'm wrong because I'll watch the end again later today but young Halliday is playing a space shooter on colecovision but I'm pretty sure that he wasn't playing pong

This movie is a horrendous piece of garbage. The writers seem to have taken the book, ejected a few (and I mean a few) key points and descriptions, then carefully wadded up the rest and wiped there asses with it.

"It's fucking chucky" always makes me laugh
My favorite line
I play that short over and over.
cant be the same one right cuz he was playing the game at the time
the delivery is perfect

“Direct reference to his birth year 1969.” 😮 Ohhhhhh I thought it was something else
Dude same 😂
It was definitely something else😂, it had nothing to do with his birthday year .

Doesn't have to add up to anything to represent the concept.
I didn't realize until yesterday that Wade has a "Masters of the Universe" lunch box.
There are almost 300 references in this movie. Its next to impossible to spot them all in less than a couple viewings.
I read the book and got excited to see this movie and I was very sad after
We need a ready player 2 !
There is a book put because the film didn’t do good their isn’t going to be a sequel.
You know where most of the budget for the first movie went to.
@AleksKieca there gonna be a second movie
We're getting one

the IOI thing is cool cause pong was like a major benefactor of the start of the videogame industry

I think IOI is a nod to Binary code, which is 1 or 0
I recognize jim raynor in his terran suit from starcraft 2
#3 is wrong. 101 in binary code is 6 for sixers.
