They are calling it most tragic because BTS is the most popular group in the world right now with millions of fans, that trainee could have had it all if he wasn't kicked out at the last minute, its tragic in that sense🤷‍♀️

@@JiaPia3 this is his story reported by someone else who made a title stating this is the most tragic story. Also I get you saying that it’s the circumstances I get that it is bts but to say it’s the saddest doesn’t make sense because he is not the only person who didn’t make the cut for bts. Also when you have kids who been in the industry since 9-11 years old who couldn’t live their childhood years and it all went to waste cause they didn’t debut or people who are literally offing themselves after all the time and energy they put in going to waste of the fact that they lost their dream and been set back in life because the piles of debt in they name I still stand on what I said.

This reminds me of artists who had trained in other labels but left that label they trained after being cut from the lineup, for instance T-ara members Soyeon was a SM Trainee almost debut in Girls' Generation alongside Stella Kim and Coed School and F-VE Dolls former member Chanmi (now soloist Heo Chanmi), they all left the lineup for different reasons, Soyeon found success in T-ara, Chanmi as a soloist, Stella lives a normal life and she's active on Instagram, Hyomin was almost in Wonder Girls when she trained in JYP, she was supposed to replace Hyuna but Yubin was added instead, she joined MBK (then name Core Contents Media) and became a T-ara member, even Qri who had trained in a another company as part of a band found success in T-ara, Hongseok debut in Pentagon after he was eliminate from Mix & Match when he was under YG, Jinho 2nd Main Vocalist of Pentagon found success in the group after leaving SM and it's Ballad group, Miyeon debut in (G)I-DLE, Youngheun debut in BlackSwan after Stellar disband before she debut (now she's no longer in the group after she and Judy were forced to graduate), Jinny debut in Secret Number after being removed from Blackpink's lineup and leaving YG, Jang Hanna debut as a soloist, Moon Sua debut in billlie, Jang Hyunseung almost debut in BigBang but was dropped, he joined Cube and debut in Beast till his departure now he's a soloist and his stage name is ABLE after leaving Cube, Ella who had debut in Cherry Bullet with the stage name Mirae has left before the group reached it's 1 year anniversary (now she and member Satbyeol had left due to health reasons), Dani an MBK trainee has left the label after numerous delays of her debut and now lives a normal life, Sojin (now Jo Gabin) used to trained in BigHit alongside GFriend debut as a member of 9Muses under Star Empire till their disbandment,

Oh i knew about him year ago, but let's not forget when there are a lot of trainees out there lost their stardom due to final line up and i could write an essay about them but somehow the them found their ways to stardom for example 5 girls from PinkPunk (BlackPink origin lineup) are all debuted now, Linzy of Fiestar supposed to join 2NE1 lineup, and other ex trainees that managed to get stardom, congratulations to them! But mind you there are some who haven't gotten their stardom, or chose to live normal life. The most infamous one i could think right now is Stella Kim who almost to debut with Girls Generation, she was rumored to be the center of the group due to her visual and outstanding body proportion, unfortunately something happened that she chose to drop out from the training and live normal life, although SNSD has debuted she is still in touch with Sooyoung though. Sadly, due to her popularity when she was an SM trainee, she had to face criticism from the public after she left the company, wherever she goes people would say "oh she didn't make it into SNSD lineup because she's fat" and other heartbreaking words, search her name up to find out more about her and she also spilled the tea about SM and Kpop industry. Don't worry, she is doing fine, IMO she took the L just like Jessica did and succeeded😁

This isn’t even remotely tragic and you’re dramatizing this as if getting cut isn’t an every day reality for trainees. BTS’ line up changed multiple times before the final debut team was selected, as far back when they were the three members of (pre-debut) BPB in 2010.
Jihoon doesn’t even describe not being selected in for BTS as tragic, and there’s no guarantee that his addition would have brought them the same success they see today. Save the word “tragic” for actual tragic situations, not a former trainee who had no guarantee of future financial success. This video is disrespectful to him and those who the word should actually apply.

The only difference is this guy is looking for clout because he was interviewed by VICE and wanted some attention about this. This thing happens all the time in kpop, people train together, grow a friendship and then some make it to the debut line and others don’t because they didn’t qualify enough according to the CEO. Same thing with big groups like exo, lesserafim, blackpink, seventeen, txt etc. I’m NOT discrediting what BTS have accomplished but I am saying this dude in the video didn’t come forward with that interview until BTS hit the market real hard. Why? Because he want attention. He’s not special, he’s just a ex trainee 🤦🏼‍♀️ Seoham from KNK trained with BTS as well but when he understood he won’t make it in BigHit and couldn’t join BTS debut he fought for his dream and joined another agency. KNK never made it big and he later left the group and now he’s becoming a well known actor and has recently hit 1M followers on Instagram from his acting. That’s a big step! He didn’t give up but this guy in the video DID and wants a sob story about it now. Also, making the title “The most tragic trainee story in K-Pop History” like what? There are people who have trained since they were kids but never make it and later off themselves because they put their whole youth into becoming an idol etc. Thousands of cases that are way more tragic than his.

Not most tragic, Jimin failed many tests but his persistence on improving and making the cut is a trait the company looks for. His life as a trainee is the same with hundreds of others. Some past trainees move on to work behind the scenes as they are talented enough. This trainee you are showing just didn't have enough skill development and perseverance to grow in the industry. One step away from stardom? He could not comprehend the pressure BTS had to go through with the media and haters all around after they debuted. He could not pass the first step, nevermind the many hurdles throughout the years. Mr. Bang made the right choices! Not dumping on this ex trainee but he showed he was not cut out for this line of work. Great that things worked out for him. Instead of constantly looking back on regrets (not really since he wasn't talented enough) be grateful for what you have now and look/work forward to a brighter future.
