His parents should’ve been keeping him from getting on the track. Kids always seem to gravitate to situations like this, that’s why they need to be supervised.

“Kids always seem to gravitate to situations like this.”
More perfect verbiage couldn’t be applied.
They aren’t fascinated by the activity, but by the connection you never get to feel elsewhere.
They don’t care about being the best except being involved and participant.
Kids are not the problem ever, they are always indefinitely the solution… the problem is the trash that survive long enough for the bitterness to set it.
Through the lens of a child, this world is so majestically magnificent… but through an adults eyes…
Adults would not exist in a utopia. So much selfishness… Enough said.

Some parents just let their kids run around and they end up getting hurt really badly and they blame it on someone instead of trying to do better with their kid and trying to teach them I was at my sister’s graduation and some kids parents let him run around and he looked 3 or 4 and he was climbing on people and even fell down the stairs and his parents were no where to be found I feel like the people that were helping him after he fell did more then his parents ever will for him

To those people saying that the runner should've stopped and pushed the kid aside instead of slamming him down (cuz ive seen too much of those):
The runner was going at high speeds so he can't possibly just make a full stop and push the kid away, and if the runner tried to stop, the collision would've been much worse so continuing to run would be better.

I bless the heart of that hard-working young man that tried to get out of the way of the kid on the track even though it inevitably made him lose time. I hope the kid is OK and I hope the runner didn’t get any serious injuries that would prevent him from running.
