It's clear that Kevin Parker's sensibilities have shifted away from psychedelia, for the moment at least. In terms of other groups that haven't completely abandoned it, I feel that Pond have been keeping that vibe alive while still moving into more pop-ish territory. Their last two albums are incredible and their new song is pretty killer too.

I was kinda underwhelmed with the new album upon first listen, but this single was so good. It's one of my favourite DD songs. I'm sure the new tracks will grow on me but I always look forward to new Django music

So how long are we going to keep this charade up? If congress wants it to be a "pandemic" then they should stop bailing out the uber wealthy and help the regular people with ubi and keep us on lockdown. Everyone here already got covid last winter and they kept us working then. Instead they are gonna keep us in limbo and we are slowly spiraling into a relapse of 2008. And i knew a lot more people who committed suicide from thr economic fallout of 2008 than I know got deathly ill and hospitalized from covid. Also! All the hospitals in this area are lying about the covid rates for money. I know thid because most my clientel work in the hospitals here. They wear no masks, say its real but not as deadly as they say and that we need to just get on with it. And these are doctors and nurses. 😏😏😏 And I do indeed live next to a major city. So its not simply small town shenanigans.
