@@PvblivsAelivs Yes i would be a-okay with people making identical copies of my bank account, as long as they don't take anything from my original bank account. Just as i only copy software and dont take anything from their Intellectual Property.
here is the reality. people generally don't pirate things they can afford. when you sell basic software for outrageous prices, you are forcing some people to have to pirate it. people need windows because almost all software can only be run on windows or a mac (which is even more expensive). linux isn't an option because the general public has no idea about stuff like that. when you put such a high price on a product that people need to get through life, you're asking people to pirate it.
I'm sorry but when Microsoft sells games at full price with questionable quality piracy is eventually what's gonna save gaming as a whole from a another game market crash
Then review your prices for your products, the price difference between a upgrade vs a n new windows 8 packages is just ridicules. People any case prefer a open source solution to a locked down application.
i won't pay for something that doesnt work, open source software has got much bigger "technical support" than microsoft will ever have, best of all, if you do have a problem with you product, it doesn't pop up with an "unknown error" which happens roughly 99% of the time,
Remember, software piracy isn't stealing, it's making a copy. No harm, no foul.
It's stealing. It's like if someone "makes a copy" of your credit card and says "no harm, no foul." After all, you still have your credit card, right?
@@PvblivsAelivs if you want to suck up to multi billion dollar corporations, you do you.

@@PvblivsAelivs so you are comparing digital piracy to the Holocaust? Yeah that’s how I know you aren’t logical. Unbelievable.

Before you tell piracy is bad to consumers then fix your problems that causes such like

Makes you remember times of when Ballmer laughed at 500 dollar iPhone.
Or maybe, just maybe, you could say "I don't need to play Microsoft's garbage games."
Anyone else here for college work?
✨Piracy is always morally correct✨
This made me laugh. Thanks Microsoft
I LOVE PIRACY
including problems (monetary system) into the solution will create other problems.
Legend still pirates 😀

Then use that open-source solution instead of pirating the locked-down application.

I have a friend who pirates games and I want him to stop, but I also don't want to get him into any sort of trouble, what should I do?
Start pirating games for him
NCR trooper teach him a better and seffer way to crack games.
Stop bitching
Woki is a pirate
OH NO NOT TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!!!
NOT AS IF IVE SOLVED EVERY TECHNICAL ISSUE MYSELF IN LIFE
Before you do anti-piracy propaganda, you should know you yourself made it easy for promotion of your software. Your "marketing strategy".
