My Gramps contracted Covid-19 a few months ago & he was in Intensive Care for just over 3 weeks. He was knocking at deaths door. We were told on two occasions to prepare for the worst. We were unable to visit him or tell him we loved him. It was an incredibly stressful & emotional time. He’s been left weak & frail & he’s also got permanent scarring on his lungs. If that wasn’t enough he was diagnosed with prostate cancer almost a week ago. We’re waiting for his MRI scan results to come back until we know the extent of the cancer & what treatment options will be best. I hope your Grandmom continues to avoid being infected with covid because it’s not nice seeing a loved one fight for their life. All the best.
