We really like ours and I can tell you from experience that the structure design of this new 9 person is far superior to the old 8 person model because we've owned both of them. Btw, welcome to the channel!
The main difference to me is the engineering of the pole placement. The 8 person has a spine going from one side to the other which is what broke on ours. The 9 person uses 2 front to back poles closer to the center and tension to give it shape. Think of a dome vs tradition house.
I wouldn't say, "Waterproof " but it's definitely water resistant. A light rain is no problem but we've never tried staying in the tent during a downpour. There is a spray that you can buy that will definitely help if you do plan on being out in a downpour. Also, be cautious of tents that claim to be "Waterproof." Happy camping!
This was so helpful thank you! On our way to the campsite and had to buy this last minute I’m excited about the purchase!
Thank you so much for your comment! We hope you love your tent and have an amazing time in the great outdoors!
Just bought. Decided to look at reviews AFTER ordering😬😓 but it looks like it’s gonna work out. It’s great!

@@VIPHoldings What is the main difference between the 8 and 9 person tent as both look pretty similar.

There is a trend now to put window AC in the tent. Can you recommend a tent with an open vent window for a small 5,000 BTU window air conditioner?
Unfortunately I have never seen this trend. Also very unsure of how it would even work with a window unit. Good luck and thank you for watching!
I want orders 1 wear I have to buy
I got mine from Wal-Mart.
Is it windproof?
