Making a custom snare drum case

After years of hand making high-end Boutique snare drums and drum sets, we had had lots of requests to make custom cases.
Recently a long-time customer ordered another snare from us and wanted to get a case along with it. What we made for him was the case you see in the pictures.
The case is made from cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood with a walnut veneer on the inner and outer faces. All of the joinery is CNC cut box joints.
The hardware on the case is as heavy duty as you can ask for. It features spring loaded flight case handles, bolted through the case with grade 8 socket cap machine screws.
The clasps on the front of the case are lockable, ATA rated heavy-duty galvanized clasps.
The interior of the case is lined with half inch instrument foam, this makes for a snug secure fit the cushion your drum like a brand new baby😂
The case is finished with two coats of catalyzed cabinet grade semi gloss lacquer for a beautiful and durable finish.
Last but not least is the Engraving. On the case in the pictures we engraved all four sides of the case, the front and back both with the customers personal panda logo, and then either side featured an off-center HHG seal.
If you buy this case on reverb right now, we will be building a new one for you from scratch. Of course, you can get whatever you would like engraved on one or all four faces of of the case. Just shoot me a message after purchasing and let me know what it is you would like to have engraved on your customized case, as well as the dimensions of the drum that will be going inside it.
Also, if you would like to get the case made from a different wood species or in a different color, or with a tolex wrap, or whatever else you can dream up... We would be happy to oblige you, there may be a change in price depending on what options you change, but we want to make sure if you get a customized case you absolutely love what you get.
