LOJO and flair should watch a video on how to do trotlines. They are supposed to be tight from end to end. Tie one end to something on land tree, stake, post, ect just make sure it is secure. Put other end in boat and move into water slowly keeping line tight as you place hooks and bait. When you get to end put in heavy T swivel and tie secure to one opening. You will tie another length of line to run a weight to set your last hook depth and keep trotline tight on top run a longer line to put a float if you want to mark the end of your line . Weight should be plenty heavy to hold line with alot of fish and keep it from moving around.

You should get that foam kits for the deck of the boat so it's not slippery or hot as 🔥. They make it in kits or sheets n you cut it to the shape you need.. Same stuff that's on yaks. Also need to name her n maybe ur luck will turn around.. Name it the SS Blue Bandito. SS Blue Banger.
Go to home depot and buy the thick rubber mats they have by the rugs etc. And cut them to fit your boat floor and you won't burn your feet and slip lol 😆 I did it to mine and its great and easy to clean and works perfect!! Great videos ig ever up north east let me know !!
