Nagao Kagetora cannot understand others, no matter how hard she tries. While her eyes are terrifying, the way she desperately prays to Bishamonten in a flashback, begging to know why she can’t understand others is heartbreaking. The way she laughs, probably because she simply doesn’t know how to cry, only reinforces how painful and lonely it is for her to be so isolated from everyone. In an earlier flashback to her childhood, she can’t even understand why her father and brother are both terrified of her, with her father slapping her and outright calling her a monster he never wants to see again. Her sister meanwhile, is obviously saddened that her sibling cannot understand why the others are afraid of her. In the second flashback, Kagetora overhears her brother admitting to their sister that he also believes she’s a monster, fearing her eyes more than the gods or Buddha. Once again, the poor girl ends up laughing instead of crying. I’m so glad that Fujimaru is with her. Perhaps now she can finally begin to understand others.

The truth is no, I never afraid Kagetora. She may not understand human emotions but one day she will soon. Every time she smiles, she give us hope, no matter how many enemies we face, no matter obstacle standing our way and no matter how far we go. As Master of Chaldea, meaning us we will take care Kagetora for give strong bonding, love and family. She is a truly beautiful samurai warrior. 💕
It’s always fun to learn about lots of characters,even if some things are given minor tweak for the sake of FATE narrative, I genuinely learn a fair bit of history and find my self fascinated by the stories of the past
I'm sad to say that Kagetora's castle - Kasugayama Castle - was not preserved. It is in ruins today. Nonetheless, the city of Joetsu is still around, and Takada Castle was rebuilt, so I recommend dropping by if you happen to be in the area. Source: used to live in Niigata Prefecture, AKA Echigo Province. I appreciate everything Kagetora did for that part of Japan.
What an interesting spin on uesugi Kenshin. Still even with her strange habits I still find her quite an enjoyable warrior honestly she seems hard to understand, she doesn't seem crazy or psychotic.
I honestly can't tell what would happen if kotomine met her. Either he'd drive himself crazier trying to figure her out or her example would lead him to using his sadism to punishing others for their crimes
There are some who say that those who lack faith in a religion lack a moral compass to guide them in life. 99.9% of the time this is not the case at all. With Kagetora, though...I believe there is a much darker timeline where she doesn't become a devout Buddhist and kills us all.
I doubt Kagetora ever dreamed that she would one day fight along side her great enemy Nobunaga. The Avatar of Bishomunten, and the Demon king of the six heavens on the same side. Now that’s a sight to behold.
To be fair, Nobus profile does mention that the Demon King form does not deny Gods but merely that humans should be free from them and how we should not rely on them. Even says God's and Buddha should be respected but not if they shackle you. This is where Kenshin comes in who, while an avatar of Bishamonten, is not a slave to the gods but still lives her life. My favorite thing about her is that her "genderbend-ness" is uncertain given various oddities, Monthly pains, being referred to as an "aunt", recorded cause of death in Todaiki being uterine cancer etc. In any case, she reminds me a lot of "Blanks" from 40K, To make a long lore dump short, they're essentially people with voids where their soul should be. They aren't necessarily evil, but people who aren't blanks instinctively despise them
I love how in-depth you go with your lore video and how much time you put into them and it makes me see servants different ways and it makes me love the the fate series more and like the outfit

Love the design Character and kit and glad she was the welfare as it made every second playing guda final worth it. Her father sees a monster, however I see a beautiful ass kicking warrior with a very adorable personality. She's a little psycho yes but it's never to the point of unsettling or a turn off of her character to me. She's definitely a huge favorite of mine, and my favorite welfare character

It's weird only having Kenshin in FGO when Shingen Takeda was a massive piece of why Kenshin became the legend. I like FGO but you just don't separate Kenshin and Takeda. Their entire rivalry is historical towards each other that Kenshin wouldn't be without Takeda and in reverse goes the same. How do I best describe this? You know the deal with Yoshitsune and Benkei? Amplify that by a multiple fold. There will never be another Kenshin and Takeda. They were monumental as warriors and as humans.

Takeda didn't try to defend against Nobu. He charged Gudaguda with all his cavalry and got wrecked on a river crossing to massed musket fire. That's where Gudaguda's Archer NP comes from.

Despite having the Lancer varient of Elizabeth Bathory, I do plan on making a Noble Phantasm yugioh card of her Noble Phantasm as well. Her Noble Phantasm describing her cloning herself sounds like Token Generation. Although the one clone being allowed to ride a mount sounds like a more powerful token.... That will have to be summoned by banishing the card that searches Noble Phantasm cards. I got a good idea. If there are any more advice about this new card, let me know with a reply
When r you gonna make a comparison video between the Fate Nasuverse and the Record of ragnarok/ shimuusu valkyrie? That series is making a hella effort in showcasing historic/mythical figures almost as well as FGO, though I wish an even better studio had gotten a chance in handling the anime adaption than the one we currently have.
Use both, they do different things. Bradamante is an aoe quick lancer you can use to clear waves with Skadi support while Kagetora is an st lancer with potential NP looping to kill bosses.

It's very grindy. They really expect you to be logging in every day to keep up with these things. It's why I only play one mobile game.

Despite having the Lancer varient of Elizabeth Bathory, I do plan on making a Noble Phantasm yugioh card of her Noble Phantasm as well. Her Noble Phantasm describing her cloning herself sounds like Token Generation. Although the one clone being allowed to ride a mount sounds like a more powerful token.... That will have to be summoned by banishing the card that searches Noble Phantasm cards. I got a good idea. If there are any more advice about this new card, let me know with a reply
When r you gonna make a comparison video between the Fate Nasuverse and the Record of ragnarok/ shimuusu valkyrie? That series is making a hella effort in showcasing historic/mythical figures almost as well as FGO, though I wish an even better studio had gotten a chance in handling the anime adaption than the one we currently have.

Use both, they do different things. Bradamante is an aoe quick lancer you can use to clear waves with Skadi support while Kagetora is an st lancer with potential NP looping to kill bosses.
Bradamante is for waves of enemies. Use Kagetora to kill single targets.
P.S she's OP as long as no ninjas hides in a toilet.

So does declaring yourself as having divine origins mean that if and when you enter the throne of heroes, you gain divinity? Or would you become a divine spirit and unable to become a true heroic spirit or summoned as one?
I think if people worship you as though you were divine, you might gain divinity as a servant.
@@otakudaikun that’s probably why we haven’t gotten Abe no Seimei as a servant yet. IRL he was deified after his death. So if DW goes that route then he’s a divine spirit so he can only be summoned as a pseudo servant like Ishtar
