Ok but what about the end of verse 10? ...because of the angels. Or the rest of the verses? Long hair, short hair etc. thank you and blessings 🙏
Also wanted to know about them angels 😂 but I listened to another teacher who admitted that he didn’t have a clue & all others were just speculating 😀
@@jackieo.o3989yes I suppose no one truly knows, all we can do is try to make sense of it with discernment. I wonder if we understood what the angel part meant if it would change the meaning of the verse

Thank you for this teaching. It is a blessing to hear that cultural context behind a passage not just as we would interpret it today.
This is the most legitimate and honest attempt to interpret this passage which says head coverings are cultural but still I think is wrong. It's convincing but I still think Paul has head coverings in mind.

In verses 4 and 5 of your teaching here, does it speaks in the context of marriage? When a woman pray or prophesy with her head uncovered dishonours her head. Isnt this applies more to her relationship with Christ, as she dies not pray to her husband but to Christ?
Subordination does not equal inferiority. (Phil 2:5-8 ) Thank you for teaching this so clearly. As a woman, I’m wearied explaining this so often. 😂 😂
Subordinate as a verb means to treat one with less significance or importance. That is why it is viewed as inferior. God made women inferior and men superior. My grandmother taught me that. She also taught me that when I die, I will no longer half to be a woman. So there is that. 😂

I do believe in this scriptures being taught was not limited to the context of marriage, but the hierarchy of authority of the man in general within the body of Christ.
Please breakdown for us verses 4 and 5...the covering of the head when praying or prophesying. Since head covering is no longer requires
I'm here to find out exactly that. So does that mean every man believer or not is over the woman in authority?

You mentioned that in the KJV it says the woman was a help 'mate', it actually says in Genesis 2 v 18 "I will make an help meet for him" The word 'meet' in the definition means fulfill or satisfy! I'm not criticising just thought it was an interesting observation!

It's been taught here that because society does not notice or understand head covering as what it should be: women accepting the God-ordained authority above her, that we are no longer held to it. This confuses me.
Most of what we do as Christians is not noticed or understood by society as what it should be, wirh the meaning God intended, because it is foolishness to those who are perishing. As Christians, we generally look strange to society as a whole anyway.
No one outside of Christianity sees communion, baptism, sinner's prayer, baby dedication, etc. for what we know them to be. Are those things still relevant in a society that doesn't see God's authority in those practices? Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever right? 😵💫 so do we follow the teaching because culture shouldn't dictate obedience, or is it legalism to follow something that the world doesn't recognise?
Is Corinthians 11 only about the order within marriage or the order in general between all men and all women ive been told it is. Some versions have 'woman' and some have 'wife'.
It would help you also to listen through Pastor Paul's teachings in Ephesians 5 and also Colossians 3 to gain a better understanding.
Where does God “ask”?? That seems to be a non biblical concession to keep the angry stuff down.
Whos will are we supposed too do the world or God doesn't God word say not too Conforme too the world to ba apart from it. not just in our believes but how we conduct our selfs with each outher and towards the world and even how we dress and how we eat not too eat for our brother conscious one who's conscious tells them too should if its in God's will in Jesus christ not too guide yourself by the costumes or fashion of this world but by his word but knowing that we are all one body in christ Jesus not doing it too boast but out of conviction of the holy spirit
Throughout the Bible there is no problem man to cover his head in worship. Even Jesus and apostles had head covering in prayer.
Submission to Jesus is symbolized by head cover as woman symbolized by head cover.
Both man and woman were crested in the image of God.
How does a wife respect her husband? Obey everything he says? I got saved after marriage but my husband is not so he's his own God.

it was the tradition and custon and culture of those times. nothing else
in 1 pet 3 we read about women coming to the church meetings with plaited hair so women did not cover the hair.
thirdly, the Bible says that everything has to be gounded on at least TWO witnesses. there is only ONE place in the Bible where you read about the head covering and that is also not very clear since we read in the very passage that the hair of women is their covering.
in the new testament we dont follow the traditions of old. we follow Lord Yeshu who set us free from the external things. now the reality is Christ Himself. not the things on the outside
those who wear head coverings rely on the Flesh which is SIN and that is the WRONG REBELLION... thats bondage to sin...
the husband and wife are to submit one another, love and serve one another.
No Part 2? Disappointing, good start here but, he gets off track and doesnt finish what Paul is saying in the 16 verses
