Ich habe ihn noch als Germon in La Traviata unter Karajan in Wien gehört. Er war wunderbar. Genauso überragend Aldo Protti als Rigoletto unter Karajan in Wien. Das waren damals wieder "goldene Zeiten" der Wiener Staatsoper.
