Pete is inspirational without having a great voice. I could listen to him forever.

I am no lefty, but Pete Seeger was supremely talented. Thousands play banjo and guitar because of him.

Mr. Jenkins, I would hope you and I can sing so well at age 76. Hell it might be an achievement if I can even breath when I'm 76. Pete may have damaged his vocal cords by about 55 years of singing for crowds at this point. I'm sure many of those years were before amplifiers were even common. He sang with Woody Guthrie for union rallies and later civil rights gatherings where I'm sure he had no mike. I'm sure most in the audience are aware of Pete's recent passing at age 94.

I realize he was old and feeble, but i have heard some of his earlier
recordings and he did not have a good singing voice then much
like Dylan.Dylan though was a great songwriter.

I saw Pete live several times in the seventies and eighties. He always said he didn't have much voice. 😆⚘❤

Hobo's Lullaby Words and Music by Goebel Reeves
Go to sleep you weary hobo
Let the towns drift slowly by
Can't you hear the steel rails hummin'
    That's the hobo's lullaby
I know your clothes are torn and ragged
And your hair is turning gray
Lift your head and smile at trouble
You'll find peace and rest someday
Now don't you worry 'bout tomorrow
    Let tomorrow come and go
Tonight you're in a nice warm boxcar
Safe from all that wind and snow
I know the police cause you trouble
    They cause trouble everywhere
But when you die and go to Heaven
    You'll find no policemen there
So go to sleep you weary hobo
Let the towns drift slowly by
Listen to the steel rails hummin'
    That's a hobo's lullaby
