    Hi there. Great info! We are looking to get a nice 75" TV without breaking the bank. In person we've viewed the QN85B tv and it looks perfect. Friend of mine wants to recommend the Q80C but I cant find one in store to compare picture, audio. Any recomendations? There are lots of differences. First; the 85C from this year comes with a restructured mini led Ips amazing panel, second; It has the Supreme local dimming which is even better than last year's model and 3'd ; it has higher peak brightness with better contrast ratio and OLED like blacks , correct HIGH for gaming , better picture quality in game mode, cleaner panel, introduction of AI HDR effect for SDR content and the best is if you can go higher like I did and pick up a 86C ( I think QN 86C it's only for selected European countries like mine Spain) and above models they came with Ultimate local dimming feature which create perfect blacks with 0 blooming so yeah, it's way better than the last year model.

      @user-ry5qk1te1v if oled is cheaper where you live and you don't have a brightly lit room then def go oled for that price cause its not worth 3k unless you fear burn in or you want a super bright picture. If you fear burn in then def go qn85c or qn90c but for that price oled is def better as long as you have a medium to dimly lit room. The brightness however on these TV's is unbeatable and so is the color. But as I said for that price if oled is cheaper DEFINITELY go oled

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @samuelparker7021 It depends on what your priorities are. The QN85C is brighter, but the B3 has deeper black levels and better contrast. Both offer fantastic pictures, and both are great for gaming with support for 4K/120Hz and VRR. As a bonus on the QN85C, there's absolutely no risk of burn in. Although it's not likely to happen on the B3, because it's OLED there is still a possibility.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Dragon211 It's not going to do the exact same thing since the panel technologies are different. The C3 will have deeper blacks and richer colors overall, however, OLED TVs can start to fade over time (granted that takes a while before it's noticeable) and there is still a small risk of burn in depending on what you're watching. That being said, the QN85C is a fantastic TV and very reasonably priced right now because of the launch of the QN85D series. We still have the 85C in stock if you're looking to order one: www.abt.com/Samsung-65-Black-QN85C-Neo-QLED-4K-Smart-TV-2023-QN65QN85CAFXZA/p/190061.html

      @hermansurjadi8918 They're both great options. The Samsung uses Mini LEDs to illuminate the picture so it can get a bit brighter and it has 4 HDMI 2.1 connections which can come in handy if you have more than one next gen gaming system. The Sony has fantastic coloring and a lower price point. Plus you can add a soundbar to the Sony if you wanted to improve the audio and still be at about the same total cost as the Samsung. @KonikEG They each have some benefits over the other. The 85C has an updated picture processor and Auto HDR Remaster which makes SDR content better by using AI to add real-time HDR effects. The 90B has a wider viewing angle, anti reflection coating (debatable whether this is a benefit or not though), expert calibration from the factory, both Basic and Pro calibration options in the Smart Things App, and a better audio system with 4.2.2 channels vs the 85C which is 2.2.2.

    The odd part is that both Qn85c and QN90C are ADS panels. Seemingly same processors as well. So what really is the difference between them? Is 85C maybe little bit less bright?
    Same dimming zone count as well. They are awfully close to each other. Unless the processor is last years or something.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +33

      @loki76 They both use the Neural Quantum Processor 4K for their picture engines. The 90C is calibrated differently at the factory though, so the picture out of the box should look better, plus you can run the Professional calibration in the Smart Things app in addition to the Basic. The 85 only has Basic. The 90C also has better dimming, a better audio system, an ATSC 3.0 tuner, and works with 4K at up to 144Hz. The 85 will only do up to 4K/120Hz. Those are the main differences. Whether that's worth the extra investment is up to the person spending the money, as well as what features you prioritize. The 90C really does look amazing, but if you want to maximize your home theater experience we'd say go with the 85 and spend the savings on a good Samsung soundbar with Q Symphony.

      I can't stress enough how much you should NOT buy ythe QN700B, its a very poor TV for the money charged for it for many reasons. Definitely buy the QN85C over the QN700B. Forget about 8K, buy a more premium 4K model instead.

      @marvinsiebert It depends on your priorities. The QN85C will be brighter, but you'll get some light blooming because it uses miniLEDs for backlighting, however, it is not susceptible to burn in like the C3 OLED. With it being for gaming, the QN85C is the safer choice, but we'd give the edge in picture quality to the C3. If you'd like to hear more about either one, or explore other options, be sure to give our TV experts a call at 800-860-3736. This TV is better than the C1 in every aspect possible considering it is mini led which creates perfect blacks, especially the QN86C and above models which come with ultimate local dimming technology. I have friends with the C1 and they are not able to see a movie on Netflix properly in a mid lit salon or room.😂. Also the Samsung has a minimum of 1.500 nits peaks brightness which makes HDR purely amazing...stuff that C1 can't properly do with his 789 nits peak brightness.

    hI THERE GREAT VIDEOS. I was about to buy a Samsung QN85C (85 Inch) for $4,900 USD when the store assistance suggested Sony X80L (85 Inch) for $3,000 USD. My heart was set on Samsung but the Sony deal and price seems great, appreciate your thoughts

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @trevorspinks7542 Not sure what market you are located in, but we don't have an X80L series in the US. Sony kept the X80K in the lineup for 2023. That being said, the X80K at 85" is only $1398 right now (at least from Abt). It's a very nice TV, but the QN85C is definitely the better of the two models. It uses mini LEDs to light the screen which make it a brighter picture, and also offers more dimming zones so you get better control of bright and dark areas on the screen for better HDR viewing. If your priority is a big screen and good picture, the Sony is a great way to save money. If your budget allows for it and you want an even better, brighter picture, go with the Samsung. If you're in the US, be sure to give us a call at 800-860-3736, if you're looking to order one of these. We're always happy to help!

    This is Samsung QN "Dumb TV".
    Ethernet port is 100Mbit and usbs 2.0.
    Dump tv has no fast IOs, because we consumers do not deserve uncompressed highest quality audio video (from your local NAS for example). All we can count for is H256 compression. Streaming 4k without compression requires 6Gbit bandwidth. Where is the problem? There are consumer grade 10Gigabit routers nowadays. But no, let's keep ignoring consumer requests for years (all major companies - Samsung, Sony, Philips etc). And you know what? Fuck them. I'm returning my TV to the shop and wish them luck. Then I'll print some labels with text "Mighty 100Mbit ethernet, hello from 90'" and put those on every tv i the market 🎉

    My problems with today's TVs:
    - Too much ads. Either remove the ads or sell the TV for free or maximal 100 bucks. There is no opt.-out.
    - I want a TV/monitor. No mirror. The reflections are insane. You have to turn off all lights.
    - You cannot disable Wifi and Bluetooth. This should be illegal. TVs can spy you. Everyone can see my TV over the air and can connect. I would never connect a TV to the internet. Just connect additional hardware for the smart things like streaming. Connect Apple TV, PS5, etc.
    - Most "Smart" TVs uses the cheapest 10 years old processors which are not fun to use the TV. This makes me use a TV only as monitor.
    - Samsung TV cases are also cheap and not suitable for larger screens. Including the stand is plastic. Not good build quality.
    - Samsung TVs (incl. Mini-LED aka Neo QLED) always have a vignette effect. Because the LEDs lighting on edges is bad. Why not just place LEDs on the edge of the screen like other manufacturers do?
    - The remote (same since decades) is not fun to use and feels primitive. The buttons does not work well and the IR must exact in the direction of the IR receiver. I expect more for that high prices.
