Question! What mm size did you cut down your 30mm screw? If you can't measure maybe a rough estimate? Appreciate the video and the suggestion of a thumb screw!
Great review. I love this thing. I imagine the upper rail for this kit came out after you made this review but trust me, The ability to mount any optic you want makes this product 100% better. Thanks for this review. Also definitely thanks for letting up know about the thumb screw. If I have 1 complaint about this brace it’s that you have to use a hex key to get your f.a. out and you won’t be able to service it unless it’s out. If you’re out in the field and lose that hex key you’re screwed.
Nice video. I would really like to see some type of aluminum reinforcement front, rear, and charging handle. just to long term durability and strength. Also, imo, it needs some type of trigger protection. I don’t want to have to charge the pistol before use.
Good video but recover tactical does make a brace specifically for the polymer 80. I don’t have a 20/20 yet but I do have the CAA MCK Gen 2 for the P80 and it is solid with no play at all and extremely comfortable. You should check them out some time would lii oh he to see your take and review on it
The problem with this system is, it only attaches to the utility rail. (Only one point of contact.) The rear of the pistol is free floating. The problem with this is, every time you rack the slide, you loose your zero. If you remove the pistol and reinstall it, you loose your zero. Basically, if you look at it wrong, you loose your zero. These are nothing more then expensive range toys. (Or maybe a sci-fi movie prop.) Save your money, don't take the bait. PSA is over. Thanks for the share!!
I got the exact brace using with a p80g23 Two questions. What’s the size of the thumb screw and before reducing that notch under the slide we’re you having cycling issues ? I ask about the slide notch because I am having feeding more than 2-3 rounds before jam or failure to feed
Yes Sir I do talk a little about the slide and cycling issues in the video. I used a Dremel to mill it down. As far as the screw See the below comment for size.
When got that brace, they did not have the 20/80. The thumb screw is a great addition to any model. Like everything a little fitting is sometimes required. People don’t have to be a smith. Make what ya need
M6 Thumb Screw GB835 30mm. (20mm will work also)

@@S.A.Masquerade EBay. Type in the M6 Thumb Screw GB835. It was 30mm length but I cut it to 20 after I got it. A little to long. 20 should work fine
@@JARG Perfect! Just wanted to be extra sure. Really appreciate the review man 👍
@@JARG thank you regular super guy!

You answered every question a regular guy like myself would've asked! Love the channel man thank you.
Dove tail = beaver tail, in JARG speak. Thanks for the share!!
The screw u added prevents use with the holster tho which doubles as a trigger guard. Still a cool addition
That screw really changes the game though. Can one swap the screw and nut to have the thumb piece sticking out other side and still use the holster?
Kudos on the thumb screw.

I agree. Trigger protection is needed
The holster with it doubles as the trigger gaurd

Bought the 20/20 for my G17L Gen3 6" barrel. Need to extend the butt😉improvise.
Accuracy really improved, like a rifle 😉
Great idea with the thumbscrew sir...💙❤

What threaded barrel attachment is that? Appreciate the feedback!
I will look when I get home
@@JARG Lmk when you get a chance! Thx!!
Nice review. They make a specific model for the P80 pistol that you wouldn't have to modify. They are cheap enough so you can get a couple. : )

It’s meant for the slight of hand .
What is?
