You can do a whole lot worse than comparing the UB-Xa with the A6 Andromeda, both being 16-note polyphonic analog synthesizers. Ironically, since I used voice input to write most of this comment, my tablet spat out “UV x-ray” when I first mentioned the Behringer synthesizer; nice companion to the negative exposure motif. 5:39 Incredible that you were able to create this Rhodes piano sound without samples or digital waveforms.
3:12 , I love that sound! And the chords are terrible!!! 👍 I hope to have a Ub-xa in my set up soon. I have to wait, they have been out of stock for almost 2 months... 😅
The UB-Xa sounds fat, warm, smooth and creamy, but the Summit has much, much more possibilities, modulation options, waveforms, etc. I would always lean towards the Summit, even if the UB-Xa sounds very good.
@@xu.sounddesign Summit is a totally diff synth altogether, I don't think they compare well at all, one being all analog with no FX, the other being digital with an analog filter and digital FX. I like both synths but I prefer the warmth of the UB Xa with roots to the 80s. Neither is a bad buy imo.
@@dankeplace I have a REV2 ...looked at Summit for ages and went the REV2 16 Voice.. Fx are not as nice... everything else is better IMHO... Workhorse synth can do everything Except that SEM thing like ob-6 Patch 007 Broken EP... now that is maybe the greatest patch ever (if there is one!)

Sounds cool, how would you rate this comparing to the Summit. I have the summit but on fence about ubxa as I want a Prophet 5😅
