This isn't the first time Aggro's intro line has made me burst out laughing like a madman but it's definitely one of the most potent.
The thing about guns in Horizon, is that you need more than gun powder to craft a gun.
You need forging techniques to make a barrel and chamber that can withstand the explosion and the ability to construct a forge for the forging.
Honestly, instead of going back to Hawaii in the next Judgment game I'd much rather want them to return to previous locations from the Yakuza games. Like Okinawa

I'm pretty sure Kris brings up the cabinet and at least one other aspect of the house in Isolation 119 in two of the three tracks, I need to re-listen to the third and see if he brings it up there. It's worth listening to them back-to-back for things like that.

Just a small correction on the Look Back news, it is getting a release in US just most likely in select theaters and not in all theaters. They haven't announced yet what chains or theaters are getting it, I believe the news only came from a translated panel Q&A to begin with so nothing is really "officially" announced either way. If I had to guess it'll probably be the same kind of release as that Haikyuu movie recently.
Dead Space 2 multi was actually kinda fun, from what I recall. It played like L4D2 multi, but with its own flavor.
Tactical Breach Wizards is, admittedly, pretty full of quips, but to compare its vibe to marvel is a grave insult. It has, like, a million ideas, and all of them are fun and cool. The quips and resulting perceived lack of tension aren't Marvel's real problem, the real problem with Marvel writing is that it's long since lost all originality and creative spirit.
Yeah it's a quippy game because Tom Francis is a funny guy, but Marvel movies became like that because the quips directly negated the tension & stakes. And I dunno about you, but the prologue of TBW is tense at fuck.
Yeah, hearing Bob say it was too quippy and Marvel adjacent had me wondering if I was still listening to BTD because... yeah...

With a microscope, you could distill every single media franchise into fitting this description. Even the stuff people gush about if distilled enough can be labeled creatively bankrupt as well. Everyone’s darling Dune 2 for example? What ideas does that have aside from “I love the Dune books, I am famous enough and have the clout to make a Dune movie franchise” the only OG ideas the movies had were the ones that people freaked out about.
Not defending all things Marvel, just pointing out how everyone loved Marvel ( Aside from Snyder cult members ) until the grifters starting crying about females with super powers being females with super powers.

A couple days ago, I came across a podcast that enlightened me on how the average person understands subscription services.
Because Xbox Game Pass is not suffering the same problem Netflix is by having a market too crowded with imitators, its main flaw... is giving too many people the ick.
Now, this podcast did recognize that the price change was a consequence of recent decisions and would only make things worse, but there was barely an effort to analyze why people didn't want Game Pass in the first place. Two of the three speakers were Ultimate subscribers who immediately began shilling it, of course.
I'll never forget that Bioshock 2 has multiplayer. One summer during Highschool my best friend stayed the whole summer break at my house and decided he wanted to get the platinum in that game. We had 2 TVs set up next to each other so we both could play games and I had to sit there and watch/listen to him grind that multiplayer for countless hours, like 20+, to get 1 trophy.
Van Arkride, to me, is like if he was Ryo Saeba with Gintokis personality falcom really cooked with this one

Just a month or so earlier, you couldn’t find a place to park if you arrived a little late. When I left that last day, there were plenty of spots open. Maybe some of the people at my office were moved to one of the other nearby offices, but I wouldn’t be surprised if management is being encouraged to scrutinize employee performance.
Regarding Spencer, I guess Access Journalism works both ways: If you give the bloggers more access than your competitors they'll suck you off despite a cavalcade of bad decisions.

Tactical Breach Wizards is what "indie devs trying to be clever with their writing" are trying to be. As in, it actually is quite clever and charming. Which makes sense, because it's made by the guy who made Gunpoint and I feel like Gunpoint is patient zero for that epidemic because it, again, succeeded at being clever and charming.

Sadly, the studio doubled down on a losing formula too many times in a row and refused to learn or innovate, neither graphically nor technically nor in terms of game design.
Embracer group did many wrong things.

Honestly the way gang talks about Mercury team is super funny because they are dead set these guys were super incompetent loosers that intentionally made every single game bad and that Nintendo bought them and beat the shit out of them with a hammer untill they started making a good game with their kneecaps missing.
The funniest part of Metroid Dread Spoilercast to me is still seeing live how their brains went trough process of "No. NO! These guys are INCOMPETENT! The ONLY reason they made that game good is cuz Nintendo."

Raiders of the broken planet (name changed to bury critical reviews,) LoS: mirror of fate, and Lords of Shadow 2 certainly make for a completely consistent image of the studio. Amazing how playing their games will do that sort of thing.
@@GigaBoots I in no way was trying to say you are either right or wrong in your assumption. Just that having no horse in that race made the experience incredibly funny to watch. Like seeing a parent who hates their child and insanely dissapointed in them suddenly see the kid performing well on the test and immediately blaming drugs for their super performance.
