Supernait 1 was my first amp, and I still feel a pang of regret for selling that beautiful piece. It brought so much joy and warmth to my listening experience. I moved on to an Accuphase, but it left me disappointed. Now, I've switched to an all-in-one solution with the NAD M10. It's convenient, but I know deep down that if the NAD ever fails, I'll go back to the Supernait. That amp was unparalleled, giving me countless hours of relaxation and joy, even at low volumes. The rhythm and style of the classic Naim are simply unbeatable, and you can find them second-hand in superb condition. Plus, it pairs perfectly with my British Spendor D7.2.
I don't understand the fascination with tube amps. Every time I had the chance to listen to them, I felt they offered less control, more distortion, and were overpriced. I also don't get where the idea comes from that they're difficult to drive speakers with. In my 30m² room, even with several speakers, I barely hit the 12 o'clock mark on the volume regulator. The Supernait had everything I needed and more, and it remains unmatched in my heart.
Attacking sounds of naim is unique, the timing is so perfect of Naim products.
The best in the world. If you want a hifi, buy another stuff but if you love emotions in music, buy Naim. I've listened to many, many ultra hi-end companies, but nothing comes close...

Guy.. You don't know about true High-End company's... Magnus Audio, Coda, Perreaux, Bryston, Anthem, Burmester, AVM, Audio Analogue amplifiers much better than Naim...Don't forget it - Naim, Mark Levinson, D.D.Agustino made pure marketing products..

My Nait 3, CD 3 and intro speakers still sound as good today as they did when they were new :D Maybe one day I will upgrade, but I doubt it.
Sometimes „where we‘re coming from“ isn‘t executed in where you‘re going to. Protect the signal, get rid of the clutter in your current gear.

Been buying Naim since the 70s,spent a mental amount changing one thing here and there,could never get what they call,'the tingle factor'......Six years ago i went the Audio Note route,never looked back,tingles in spades now.
As well as throwing a whole bunch of cash there's also a complex science behind achieving 'audio heaven'. From the size of your room (here size really does matter), to objects/furnishings within that space, acoustics, laser positioning of your speakers etc.
Then the hardware and all the various interconnects. It goes much deeper than that if you begin to run your own power grid to your home etc etc! I embarked on this journey 40+ years ago (hit/miss mostly miss for me). But eventually you become rather satisfied with whatever your efforts have amounted to ( I just ran out of steam, not to mention cash). I still run naim nap 250 and not to say i don't contemplate others. But.....and it's a big but, I AM content with my 'audio heaven' and so should you good folk ...Enjoy the journey!!

Highly compressed FM radio staions are abominable sound quality. The commercial ones are the worse. Better listen to Radio 3, no compression.

Have recently purchased a Nain Superuniti tuner-amp and it lives up to all the maker's claims. However, what is not mentioned in the video is the sheer awful sound quality put out by certain radio stations, which make a mockery of the care taken by equipment makers. Classic FM is the worst, with a gritty, rasping distortion on strings and voices in the mid-upper register. My well-worn old vinyls sound infinitely better. Anyone else have this gripe?
Ok suggestions Marantz,Denon,Creek,Cyrus ,Icon & Croft are better for the same outlay
In Naim there is no 3D because depth and width don't exist.. They believe in a flat Earth as does their sound.. It's just beats :-(

Nothing like Elesctrocompaniet amps best on the planet. Naim are over priced rubbish and have built-in-obsolesance...meaning the latest model is old and out f date.
Care to elaborate why Naim are over priced rubbish? I've listened to a lot of stuff and not heard anything better at the price. A lot of companies claim to be as good as Naim

I guess it depends what Naim stuff you go for. Their lower end stuff is a bit soulless. I own a CDS3 and 5000p and it's one of the most analogue sounding musical CD players I've ever heard and never misses a beat or glosses over detail. Plus the after service is fantastic. 'I've not heard moon and I will admit I'm not a fan of the looks of Naim players but they do seem to have a massive following amongst audiophiles and people associate it with the best. There must be a reason for that.

+Justin Hunting Listen to Simaudio and you wont go anywhere else. Neutral sounding, transparent, Turn the volume right up on the amps and they wont give any noise on the noise floor. Dead quiet=no distortion..It's the best you will every listen to. Plus 10yr warranty. Looks to die for too.
