I bought this as soon as it came out. Several years ago I built the tail for one of these (still in the garage). Wanted to build the whole thing but just didn’t have the funds so I didn’t start other than to see if I had the “skill”. I’ve flown their demonstrator and probably the most fun I’ve ever had in an airplane. The guy did an approach that was so steep it was almost a brown-trouser moment😂.
It looks really good, pretty much like the real one, though let's be honest, it's totally overpowered. While yes, at full flaps you can takeoff in about 60 feet, you're never gonna get a 1500 or 2000 ft/min climb rate while doing 80 mph. I fly a real one of these with a Rotax 912S 100 hp engine (which is the most powerful option you can get on those, otherwise you also have the regular 80-hp 912) and it'll steadily do 700-800 ft/min at 70 mph, or up to 1,000 ft/min at 60 mph. Of course this will be affected by density altitude, but what you're getting in MSFS here is clearly way over the top. Also 5,000 rpm at full throttle is about right. I can get 5,200 from the 912S during takeoff roll, that's about it.

Excellent video thanks, I have been having fun with it recently, perfect for sight seeing low and slow.
This plane is so fun. Got it on sale on the marketplace. Great video
I bought it a few days ago on sale. Crazy value for money. A fun and nimble plane! 😄👌
This thing's climb rate at full throttle is crazy
Who would build a simulated light airplane without a slip indicator?
this is a ridiculous plane :D
