GIMP Tutorial: Selecting and Cutting - My best methods for cutting people out demonstrated

This video is in response to a request for information on how best to cut around a human being. Cutting people out is challenging, but by using some different tools that are on offer, the job is made tremendously easier. We don't have to use 1 tool for the cut, and that's the key!

Thanks for the video. After you selected the girl I seen you click on the layer and then click delete.
How did you get the selection back? Maybe I missed a step. That part of the video went by fast.

After making the selection, you can press ctrl X, to cut. Or click edit, cut.
After deleting the layer, paste your selection back. Or press ctrl V

You made some great Gimp videos, pity you stopped. Did you move to using another program?

I haven't stopped intentionally. I suppose Ive just been short on ideas of what people want to see or learn. Feel free to make suggestions :)
