MasterBooks God's Design series for the 3rd-8th grade (like the 1 you showed for Chemistry & Ecology) ALSO has a teacher's manual (which you didn't show). This has the quizzes, tests, & worksheets.
I have been trying to make our trip to the Creation Museum and Art Encounter! We can't wait! I personally like the Masterbook God's Creation series because they are more easily devided per each lesson. I compared Astonomy for both Masterbooks and Apologia, the content seemed fairly the same but better organized.
I had a chance to use Apologia Astronomy a couple years ago with my 4th grader. I eventually bought the Masterbook Astronomy. At the time I wished we started using Masterbook Astronomy instead because the concept felt just more organized in a way that can be better remembered for kids. It can be just me but it feels like the information in Apologia is a bit too all over the place. I can see what you are saying though, for co op setting Apolgoia is better for more experiments. We have been with the science co op that used Apologia. Now a question, is the newly published apologia zoology series different from their previous Swimming Creatures and Flying Creatures?
We combined Apologia's Botany with MB God's Design for Life - Plants. While both are indeed good, we've found that we much prefer Apologia. Next up is a combination of Astronomy and Earth Science. We will continue using both and I'm interested to see which one we like better for these topics. As always, thank you for doing these! PS- My eleven-year-old just told me you look like Sally Field. And by golly, you kinda do!
What a great comparison video, thank you! I just want to hop in and say that Health and Nutrition is technically recommended for the high school level. It was not intended for elementary.
It depends on the year and which curriculum you use. But honestly it’s about the same for each. Apologia is much more flexible with amount of days. You can do it in 3 days.
Well, I bought a Masterbooks science course for my son. The books were fine, but it wasn't up to snuff, so I bought the new Apologia Zoology 2. I just don't think it's as good as Apologia.

Love both of them as well!

@AaWa-dp4oq thanks. Yes, by far. I do thinks it’s more rigorous. .
We love Masterbooks ❤

Thanks! That's really good to know.
I would love any teaching helps/advice you have to give on the Apologia Physical Science. My oldest is doing this with CC Challenge 1 this year.
Wow I never realized why Astronomy came first over Zoology. Hahaha it makes sense with the order of creation. 😂 Such a fun fact!
How long are lessons and how many times a week to get done in a school year?

I have the Answers in Genesis God's Design for Life. How is Masterbook's version different?
It's the same, just an update.
