I need some help.
The selected template doesn't exist. Please select adifferent output template in the Datamosh 2 settings before moshing again. Ocurred at mosh phase renderTemp.
Loving it, appreciate the tutorial very much----Is there any explanation of the Intensity/Blend/Acceleration/Threshold controls? I would generally understand those things in other effects, but this is a weird plugin (that was a compliment btw) ......Particularly where negative values are involved.

Is there a way to adjust the render/export settings within the plugin? It would be great to have the ability to render out the mosh in an uncompressed format (ProRes 4444 for example). I don't like the idea of rendering as an H.264, placing the mosh back into the edit, then compressing further for the final delivery.
Great question. We offer the ability to render out clips from AE using the built in output templates. There is a lossless option that can be used here. However, datamoshing is accomplished by manipulating the motion vectors found in lossy compression codecs. We use a very high bitrate when converting to lossy quality, but we are unfortunately not able to stick strictly with lossless quality.

Ребята, если у вас появилась ошибка на этапе moshTemp, слушайте. После нажатия кнопки СКАЧАТЬ в самом datamosh у меня сразу не установились файлы ffglitch и ffmpeg. Я скачал и установил их вручную по ссылке из описания. Datamosh не работал. Но после того как я нашёл оригинальные файлы (ffglitch и ffmpeg), которые скачались по пути C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp\Datamosh2\WIN
, я распаковал их и перенёс в папку откуда уже и добавил их в директорию datamosh. Вроде как именно после этого шага всё и заработало. Удачи
Guys, if you have an error at the moshTemp stage, listen up. After clicking the DOWNLOAD button in the datamosh itself, the ffglitch and ffmpeg files did not immediately install. I downloaded and installed them manually using the link from the description. Datamosh didn't work. But after I found the original files (ffglitch and ffmpeg) that were downloaded along the way C:\Users \*username*\AppData\Local\Temp\Datamosh2\WIN
, I unpacked them and moved them to a folder from where already and added them to the datamosh directory. It seems like it was after this step that everything started working. Good luck
so mine stopped working and I opened a ticket and they asked me 2 simple questions and ignored me for 3 days. still waiting for an answer. reply to my ticket. fix the issue

Hey there, it seems like the tutorial begins with four different layers already open, and the instructions are a bit unclear.
I'm struggling with adding a gradient layer, like in your video. It seems to apply directly to the footage, rather than as an individual layer. Can you please help me fix this issue? I couldn't find any tutorials on it, which is making me a bit frustrated. I'm just trying to get it done.

Thanks for the support and apologies if it was a unclear! You will need to create a new shape or solid layer to apply the gradient on to.

I keep getting a white-screened video when I hit the datamosh button . This issue is for every datamosh option. When I try to remove frames I get an error. This plugin is not working at all. I've put in a ticket and I still have not gotten a response.
I’m having the same issue where all of my media is now white after running DM. Did you find a fix for this ?
hey what format does the footage being mapped have to be in to map properly?
does it have to be a video or can it be a picture file like jpeg or pdf?
Great question! Since Datamosh renders out whatever you have in your composition as a video file, you can utilize any effects, footage or images in your timeline and we will render it out as a footage file so that it will work in Datamosh. Does that answer your question?

@@zionbdacy5830 I have used the map export on footage, images, text, compositions and have received great results with each. It really depends what you are looking to mosh and how you want to mosh it. I wouldn't say there is a best type of format. In the tutorial, we go over uses with static maps (which in this case is a layer with an effect, but could be an image) as well as dynamic maps which can create a more chaotic/dynamic looking mosh.
my datamosh plugin is rendering only 3 frames! does anyone know why?!

don't buy this buggy thing it keeeps loading only a bit and stops working they dont even help fix this the whole app isnt moshing and im not the only one who has this error no patch has been done to fix this issue don't waste your money on this
This shit DOES NOT WORK...I paid extra for the Depth Scanner plugin and it does NOTHING... you never get results like what you see in the video... the moshing is all over the whole clip no matter what
