OMG i am literally crying . I am so happy that nollywood is finally getting the recognition it deserve, i have been watching all those people since i was a child . I love nollywood movies 🎥 🇭🇹❤️🔥🇳🇬
As an African, Angolan, this really made me proud and having a movie with everyone that would had been 💯💯 been watching nollywood since dvds to now Netflix 🥳🥂
I'm an African born in America. Nollywood has taught me about The Royal African Heritage my ancestors were forced to forget. I truly admire the creativity, ambition, dedication, perseverance, and raw talent of Nigerian Actors and Film Makers. GOD BLESS YOU.
Why does African Americans think everything about Africa is royalty... is that why you call each other queens and kings. You know there existed commoners and slaves alike with kings and queens, not everybody was or is a queen or king in Africa. i dont know how you can watch our movies and still get the royalty theme.. that is not what we tell in our stories ( not in nigeria anyway), there is so much to get than royalty.
@@bibaolaitan5189 Thanks for your question. Long ago Africans went to war over who would be the sovereign rulers of Africa. The reigning rulers of Africa today descend from ancestors who won those wars or deposed the kings that did. Those who lost at war were exiled as slaves and sold to Europeans to build their wealth and newfound Kingdoms. Enslaved Africans were treated very harsh by Europeans over the course of 400 years. The enslaved Africans lost all knowledge of their heritage, their names, their languages and their culture. Europeans taught them that they came from monkeys in the jungles of Africa and were naturally inferior to white people. African Americans were never taught that they descend civilized societies that were led and governed by royalty. They were never taught that their ancestors built America using the creativity, technology, and ingenuity of their ancestors. Even today people don't know the magnitude of their sacrifice. Enslaved African Americans designed and built every major historical city in The United States. New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC to name a few. That sacrifice has made America so rich that anyone who lives here even the homeless commoner probably has a quality of life equal to if not better than most Kings anywhere else in the world, including Asia and Europe. We call each other Kings and Queens because that's who our ancestors were and that who We Are. Everyone who steps foot in America lives like Royalty, thanks to the ancestral sacrifice of African Americans, during the Maafa. Please visit. You will live like royalty.
Heartwarming.... Great to see more African stories. To change the negative perception of Africa, we have to share our beautiful stories. Changing one narrative at a time.
