It's relieving to hear that. I've been educating twenty-somethings on Tango's legacy since the news. Many millennials just assume that algorithms were always the way new music came our way. The majority of Tango's original supporters would have discovered him by chance or had to hunt down his music because none of the majors were supporting it. He was a true originator before jungle was even a thing. Prototype hardcore breakbeat business. Since his passing I've been checking out his father's music too. Gordon Giltrap, look him up. Truly gifted family.

They just play the same shit over and over at old school events.....same 30 fucking tunes on rotation! Don't get me wrong, I love many of the big anthems (& own a lot of 'em!), but I still dream of hearing underground tunes on a big set again. I'm going Rage at Heaven in December and I'm hoping for some proper old school hardcore and jungle riddims to get dropped!
