Magic Wheelchair is a non-profit organization that makes EPIC costumes for kids in wheelchairs.
This year the organization has already built over 80 costumes with more than 30 of them delivered this week alone.

Sorry, but those are way too big and become an inconvenience. A simple skin or really thin chasis would have been much better.
Or are these only for taking photos in?
They're cosplay. Cosplay is not about being practical every day, they're about having fun and escaping from the everyday.
They're cool but seems highly impractical.
