GM had all sorts of names for the early transmissions, most likey it's a version a super turbine 400 [or 300] as the real 3spd TH400 wasn't offered in a Cadillac until 1964, speaking of olds, some of the 350 rocket blocks bare weighed 198lbs, 394 is closer to 210-220 if I remember{?}
All the Trans you named there have torque converters & are fully alluminium cased, The trans in the video is a Hydramatic 315 (Jetaway) it has no torque converter & the main case is iron, very different from the ones you mention.
The flywheel is what made that Caddy run so smooth. If i am correct the carb should be the self adjusting type...
Don't give your self a hernia. I think I did, that was 6 years ago never did get it fixed. It bothers me to carry a car battery! Cool Cadillac
It's the 4-speed Hydra-Matic automatic gearbox ;)
Back in the day those Caddy transmissions were known as a slush box. lol.
I'll give you a hand but I'm too far away.I got to do the top end of my engine on Saturday hopefully.

200 lbs is heavy i wouldn't be able to lift that!
They weigh even more those iron ones, they are not a one man lift, his story about lifting up an iron V8 is in his mind I think 😂
