Yeah for real. I’d argue Gta 5 was about just as much ahead of its time as RDR2 was for its own time. Not sure why you’d be comparing two Rockstar games from different time periods and expect the older one to win.

I'm 26 and i played every Rockstar game since Gta 3, RDR2 is easily the biggest Rockstar's masterpiece, way more depth and better story, same with almost every characters, only kids would prefer GTA 5

I don't know if I would give pacing to Grand Theft Auto V the story is kind of a mess specially when you're having multiple different characters doing multiple different things instead of being a more focused coherent story with just one protagonist
it had potential to be the best game ever, rockstar rushed it towards the end and i think that's part of why they abandoned it, they were sick of the game after multiple 100 plus hour work weeks and i get that the same things happen to us at our jobs.
