What has been your favorite bottle for feeding your baby and why? Would love to hear feedback from parents out there.

My favorite has been the tall bottles, they are just a lot easier to hold.

Note: the bottle I mentioned in this video is NOT the bottle I typically recommend. There are other great options out there, see products and resources I love here: linktr.ee/kassireyes

i just wanna say to any new parents who are exclusively bottle feeding, it's ok, it's not wrong, don't feel bad. we were so stressed with our newborn when we couldn't breastfeed and felt like failures from the social pressure of "exclusively breastfeeding" like it's the norm. bottle feeding is perfectly normal and there's nothing wrong with going with that route. relax!

I actually like the comotomo bottles too! I like that they are easy to hold and clean and that they aren’t plastic

Thank you for this easy explanation. It’s come to the point that I will have to leave my LO with my mother for an hour or so and will need to use a bottle. My LO is 3 1/2 months old and is exclusively breastfed currently so we are trying to learn pace feeding to make the transition between breast and bottle easier for the time she will be away from me😭 also thank you for using all inclusive terms!

Great video, currently has a 2 week old who is ALWAYS hungry and we have to supplement sometimes. I am really looking for any nursing advice available and your channel is a great source for me!

Making sure every few suckles you tilt the bottle down so there’s no milk in the nipple, once you’ve tilted the bottle down at least 3-4 times you’ll burp, and repeat. So basically you’ll do this:
suckle, suckle, suckle, tilt so no milk is in the nipple for 3-5seconds, suckle suckle suckle tilt , suckle, suckle, suckle, tilt, suckle, suckle, suckle, burp, repeat.
Also, while suckling the nipple should not be full of milk, only just barely covering the nipple hole.

How do I know if he is full vs wanting to pacify/be comforted? Sometimes he projectile vomits through nose and mouth, which is probably due to overfeeding right? How do I know the right limit?

Hi Meme, you could ask your pediatrician for guidance on how much he should eat per feed based on his weight and age. I usually say start at the lower end of that range give the baby a break, and see if he’s still hungry, if he is still hungry give him more milk in half ounce (15 mLs) increments at a time until he is full. Doing slower feeds and giving more frequent breaks will hopefully help you avoid overfeeding, you will start to learn what his limits and needs are. You are doing amazing. 💕

I try to use inclusive language on this channel so that everyone feels welcome in the community. Not everyone who has a baby refers to their anatomy as a "breast". Thank you for watching.

Renounce the far left , the far left is the real systemic threat
