I spent 11 years in this city especially the places you mentioned, Hamdan Street, Tourist Club Area, Electra, Corniche. OMG watching these raw videos brings old memories back. Thanks Abrar for sharing.
Its now 100% changed mean Abu Dhabi. 1988 was the last year when i was there and after my metric exams from pakistani school i never got the chance to visit this nice city. I was there in 1978 and have seen very old Abu Dhabi. I don't know that still there are remainings of old city. Khaldiya garden is still in my memory as we lived near it. Thanks abrar dear for showing me my childhood city.

One of the most beautiful city Abu Dhabi. I have worked here for some time. Visit marina mall, Abu Dhabi mall, sheikh zaiad mosque, Cornish beach, it's royal city and one of the richest Emirates. Peaceful like Islamabad, Dubai is like Lahore hustle and bustle

That brings back memories.
I used to work in Abu Dhabi many years ago, so bits look familiar.
I'd walk along the Corniche during my lunch hour sometimes...was a nice, sometimes very hot walk.
Hamdan Street is actually the main street, at least it was at that time.
Lot of building were popping up at the time, and probably still are.
The fish market I used to go to was just off of the Hamdan Street before the Corniche. So was the fruit and veggie market.
Had all kinds of fish that didn't even look like normal fish. Had to ask the merchants sometimes how to prepare some fish.
Was all yummy. I remember Hamour (spelling?) fish.
Would like to go back one day, and check the place out to see how it has changed.

On 10:47 the bridge you crossed is Maqta bridge it's a very old bridge and on right side from Maqta it's a newly built.If you stand on Maqta when coming from Abu Dhabi there is a little old jail (tall brown building) in middle of water surrounded by water

Visit Hyatt Hotel on the top you will see complete Abu Dhabi it's a revolving hotel at the top. Do visit you will enjoy. I stayed at Hotel Howard Johnson. The same road will take you upto Sharjah.. you will get (Masjid )Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at Rashid Bin Saeed Street end of Abu Dhabi before entering into Dubai. You should visit inside.
Abu dhabi was my hometown for 5 years. Your video made me cry.
You went to Abu Dhabi on a deserted highway but while reaching the City, everything changed into a lively and fantastic lifestyle of its people and all the shining cars roaming around the city. The hotel that you stayed at had a good ambiance and better service for the price tag of 60$ was beyond our imagination.
Wow, the fish market looked so clean and the surrounding restaurant stalls gave you a nice fish grilled that looks like English menus.
Wherever you met at the petrol bunk, and restaurants people recognized you and gave you their warm wishes in your language. All the best for those men working under the scorching sun but never gave any bad feeling but a warm smile for you, you deserved it Abrar.🎉
