- Defend CATAN! 570 years after the arrival of the first settlers on Catan, an enemy army lands on the northern shores. Knights from every region must join together to defend the island. Together will you be able to stop the onslaught? Can you save Catan from destruction? The three scenarios tell an interwoven story and give experienced players new challenges as they consider new strategies for victory.
I'll be honest: as much as I love playing Catan variants, scenarios, and expansions (often several at the same time!), Legend of the Conquerors scares me. Of course, this expansion and its numerous scenarios isn't designed for the faint of heart, but I found the scenarios in Legends of the SeaRobbers far more inviting and easier to digest. The extra components in Teasures, Dragons, and Adventurers were also welcome and enjoyable. Guess I finally met my match at the game of Catan! 😂
Man, this is the hardest scenario I've ever played. Some of the rules are so very vague. Me and my friends played everything (Seafarers, Cities & Knights, Explorers & Pirates, Traders & Barbarians) but this one is beyond our understanding. I mean, can you guys write a Legends of the Conquerors rules book for dummies? Pretty please?
The design has gotten way arbitrary since cities and knights, very incoherent. Hard for experienced players to understand gameplay intentions which arguably aren't very consequential or fun. Catch me making my offshoots.
Following up on an earlier question, I'm also confused as to why the conqueror cannot pass the knight at 3:40 there is nothing in the rule book explaining this
at 3:40, you said "he cannot pass this knight". i have the original board game, and i cant find this rule in the book. why cant he pass the knight? because they are the same level?
I just bought and played this expansion and I'm also confused why the conqueror cannot pass the knight. Did you ever find an answer?
@@NoChill69 seemingly a road with a knight & a settlement, or a road with 2 knights, acts like a barrier for the conquerer. i'm not 100% sure though
Tell me about the hero track. When you go to the next chapter the rules sound like you stay where you're at on the hero track, except the person who has the most VPs.

Hi there. Unfortunately, this game is not available to be played online. It is only shown as online demos for certain conventions because we couldn't do in-person events.
