The original looks way better, i mean... look at that rain, and even the facial expressions! In the remastered version, everything looks off and the characters feel out of place.
So in the remastered there is no rain on Max's face, but on Kate's clothes you can see every thread and droplet. Max nose bleed is accentuated when she reaches the roof yet it's all gone during the conversation. Like BtS Chloe's remastered face skin: all fine textured, but didn't change when she got the black eye the morning after the Firewalk concert. The irony is that the remasters add high res while forgetting about the details.
Maybe because the rain is actually angling in Kate's direction. the way it is hitting her shirt, it would not be hitting Max's face, but the back of her head.
Original did it so much better. Kate's puffy eyes and dark circles, Max's eyes too and how she's always keeping her gaze on Kate, the haze in the background,...
To be honest, Kate Marsh looks more beautiful in the original. She looks like a painting, I like that style. In the remake she is more fluid, but she loses all that makeup from the original. So the problem is only the head, the remastered body is okay, just the head!
I playing now remastered edition in this place looks worse than original and another bad thing in the remaster is the disappearance of music in places but in many cases the remaster looks awesome
the only thing this remaster did well was the envinronment. Characters, what we're actually looking at the most, for the most part became worse-looking or did not get significant improvements
No, the character animations in the original were not good, not even for its time. Hell, I think it even clashed with Hannah Telle's excellent performance.
@@txgoldrush I know I'm late, but I finally got to experience the entire remaster and I say they're not good in the original OR the remaster Episode 3 and Episode 4 have A HUGE amount of scenes in the remaster that had their lip-sync animations untouched. It's the same for the most part. Still awful and super awkward they did improve significantly on episodes 1, 2 and 5 though
Are they freaking cereal ??!! Instead of making a new game with different story and characters .. they waste their time and energy to make this thing!!!? The original one is already good. And we did enjoy it and now it’s done .. we are bored WE NEED NEW GAME With a different and existing story.
