- A Christmas themed junk journal lapbook!!
Lots of fun to be had in this lapbook! Lots of tucks, pockets, flips, tags, hidden tuck spaces, a writing journal and so much more!!
The front image on lapbook comes from a vintage 1951 Christmas magazine/book (I 'think' from the Ideals magazine company). I liked the nativity image as well as the dark blue sky with stars background as it went nicely with the pale green painted, altered books being used as the foundation for the lapbook.
When opened up completely, the lapbook measures 40" long by 10 1/2" tall. The main spine is 1 1/2".
Many of the images are printed from my own digital files available on my Etsy shop.
From smoke free home. Thanks for looking!!

Amazing book!
Thank you so much!
Very beautiful journal.super creative ideas. I love it... can you please tell me how did you fasten the so called milk stopper circle ones and make them rotate?
Thank you! I'm sorry I'm just now replying!! The milk bottle caps.... here's what I do. I hope I can explain. Use 2 caps. Stack them and punch holes in each cap in same place, but not in center. Put a paper fastener through the hole and secure prongs back on to the back side of bottom cap. Then figure out where you want your 'lock' to sit. Rotate the top cap to make sure the lock will do what you hope it will do. When you know for sure you have the caps where you need them, glue the set down to the surface of the journal or lapbook. I hope that makes sense!!
