Thank you for posting this presentation. I have polymyositis, dermatomyositis and connective tissue disease. I found your information quite helpful. I've had doctors explain these maladies, but after surgeries within the last few years, I needed a crash course again. Let me add, I do have great doctors. While I do have weakness, I also have pain if I do anything. Even taking a bath leaves me weak. I'm finally able to go to physical therapy. However, I'm so weak afterwards that I'm not much help around the house. I do have problems dressing sometimes and brushing my hair. While I can walk a little bit, with my cane, I basically just use a wheelchair. My hope is to get back to a little bit more of life outside of my home. I'm so thankful for the Internet and now your presentation. You did a great job! Have a blessed day.
Muscle pains with statins does not necessarily warrant discontinuation. Concomitant supplementation with ubiquinol can sometimes alleviate these pains.

Thank you for that useful info! My first action would have been to switch the statin, didn't know you can add ubiquinol.
