Good ol days of CS. Hit reg was reponsive, every weapon had good damage, accuracy and recoil (looking at you deagle). Wallbangs are the most exciting ways to get kills you dont see that in CS2 anymore since they nerf it to the ground.

Hit reg has a learning curve since the models are disproportianate to the actual hitboxss to the point where the top half of player heads arent hitable. CS2 actually is starting to have wallbanging be more viable as they changed how wall penetration works more in the style of 1.6 though definitely not as extreme. Im saying this as a 1.6 enjoyer. The game is scuffed but its a good scuffed.

They are intermediate level. Everyone knows they wall there even starting players. Best spot is to stay behind the boxes where you plant the bomb. Or the boxes in hut and another player in top of hut. You can get wall on top of hut but not everyone will know you are there. When you cover as T in bombsite 1 can be outside close to bomb just for distraction and one behind the boxes at bombsite covering rafter. Or 2 in the boxes just not the same angle.

I forget the exact procedure but it was pretty easy to edit server settings for some servers. It was either a weak password or no password for the console commands and you could tweak the gravity and whatnot. Makes me miss playing around on the computer for hours on end when I was young. Halo eventually replaced my CS addiction but it's a close match to the amount of time spent playing either.
