I had a chance to experience DEH at Noel Coward Theatre on 20th Oct 2022 after I had been waiting for it for more than 5 years since I first known DEH via youtube. . I had read a book , listened to audio book , memorized all the rylics and watched your review before attended the event. . It' so uplifting once I entered the theatre. And Definitely I bursted into tears like you guys at the end of the first half. :You will be found" had killed me deeply. Also, the whole show did it too. . Every fan will miss this amazing cast !!! . Love Dear Evan Hansen
I don’t think anyone can put into words how incredibly beautiful the atmosphere was in that theatre that night but those of you that were there will understand. It was one of the most special nights in a theatre and probably won’t experience something quite like this again for awhile! The love and care the audience showed to this beautiful cast to support them and get them through their final show (and Sam definitely needed it) was so touching! Very emotional night indeed but couldn’t of wished for a better send off to this amazing show & cast! I will never forget this night! Always remember your not alone and YOU WILL BE FOUND! 💙
i’ve never met anyone who’s standout moment is when larry cries! you understand me, the whole thing is very beautiful and painful but that one moments tears me to shreds for the rest of the night
When Sam was pushed to take a final departing bow and waved the crowd off to go home, I immediately remembered Ben Platt doing the same at his final show.
Thought I was done crying at this show 😭 pretty sure Zoe's bow back to Evan is a regular part of the staging. I saw the show again this week and she did it and I remember it from when I saw it at the beginning of the year
yeah, although i was able to see in twice before it closed, i can tell you the cast was so good! i’m sorry you weren’t able to see it :( i really wanted to go and see the closing show but the tickets were just so so expensiveee.
I was there.. the true support of the audience.. really aching to help Sam and the cast get through. Fabulous special evening. So sad the show closed.. why oh why?
Nice wrap of what was an incredible, emotional, brilliant night. A total privilege to be there, something I won’t forget. Never experienced a night with so much connection between audience and cast. (From the random guy who tapped you on the shoulder in the queue to say great work on your channel!)
WOW! I love this play so much and how emotionally invested I get. I can only imagine how the performers got through this roller coaster of emotions. Just viewing the final bows and speeches made me cry. Thank our for sharing this special night. Stay well. 👍🙏😢😎
Oh wow - what a fantastic ending. I saw this show just before COVID, and found it absolutely stunning. I've never openly cried at the theatre, until watching this - brilliant show!
I was supposed to see this show in 2020 as a Christmas present however, COVID unfortunately got my ticket cancelled only a week or so before my show when all theatres closed. I never got a chance to see the show after that and as this show has helped a lot in my life in many ways, it was devastating to hear about its closure although I hope it tours sometime soon. Thank you for making this vlog, it means so much to me to be able to see something of this show on closing night!
This was the last show I saw in February 2020. Unfortunately, I'm fairly vulnerable and haven't seen a show since! I saw Marcus Harman as Evan and he was such a sweetheart. I sobbed through almost the entire show, so that's a testament to his performance. Gutted that I never got to see Sam, but he seems like such a gentle soul AND SO TALENTED (?!) this is absolutely not going to be the last we see of him.
I watched it just the Saturday before closing night and it was EVERYTHING! Instantly became my fave musical I ever saw and ever since I can't shut up about how brilliant it was. The cast is incredible and I wish I could've watched it many many more times. Will never forget the feelings I had watching it and how much it gave me ever since when I listen to the songs or just think about the play. I hope at some point they will come back to the West End with that show. It's too good to not have it there permanently. My heart breaks now that it is not there anymore :(
So one of my favourite TH-camrs films me in the queue and I don’t even notice connected to my phone! Last night was unreal, so electric, so emotional and a show closing well before it’s time.
I went to London for a musicals weekend but didn’t know about this show (never had gone to musicals before and did Hamilton, Book of Mormon and Wicked). When I found out about this one I fell in love and I’m so profoundly sad I didn’t go for this. I hope they tour soon, I would go anywhere to see this crew!!
DEH has never been a favourite of mine, I'm sad to see it close and would be super hopeful of a tour, i think it would tour beautifully! I did an online fan reading if DEH as Cynthia in lockdown and it was one of the most emotional readings I've been part of. A show I appreciate and one that has been overlooked and has the most talented company. Looking forward to seeing what they do next. Thank you for vlogging this.
Jack Loxton trying so hard to keep it together in the background just broke me. Someone give them all big hugs. I was lucky enough to see this show twice back in September. Would've loved to be there yesterday though. This seems like such a magical night to end this journey.
Actually crying watching this,. I remember watching it for the first time and in tears before the interval, god knows what would have been like in that performance. What do you think the chances of it going on tour are. & Juliet announced closure and then a tour but nothing from this?
I really want DEH to go on your tour and also Come From Away too 🤞🏻🤞🏻 also always wanted to see &Juliet but can’t get to London atm, so hopefully I can see that on your tour too🤞🏻🤞🏻
So sad to see this is closing! I never had the opportunity to see it in London unfortunately, I’m hoping there will be a touring production sometime soon!
I know this show gets ragged on a lot now because of the film + people judging it by out of context synopses that make it sound far more 13 reasons why than it is, but i absolutely love DEH, it's definitely in my top 5 shows i've seen live and it just resonated so much with me. Only got the chance to see it in April this year - delayed 60th birthday trip for my mum thanks to the pandemic (we were originally planning to get tickets for hello dolly when it was supposed to be opening in August 2020 lol). Having listened to the soundtrack, I expected to cry at You Will be Found - but I didn't expect to sob uncontrollably. And I definitely didn't anticipate just how much I would cry at So Big/So Small. My mum got diagnosed for the 2nd time with breast cancer while we were still in lockdown so the London trip was just as much of a victory lap as it was a belated birthday trip, and the whole ordeal still felt really fresh as she's still undergoing some treatment and monitoring to keep an eye on it while in remission. My whole life she's been my rock and the moment Heidi started singing "Your mom isn't going anywhere, your mom is staying right here" I wailed it just hit every bit of anxiety and fear I'd been keeping a lid on from that time. I cry at a drop of the hat when I go to see shows usually, but I gave myself a 2 day tension headache with how much I cried at DEH. I really wish I'd been able to make it down for the final show but I had to budget for other things - thank you so much for at least giving a window into the final night with this amazing cast and fans. This show's always gonna have a special place in my heart (and on my skin as I got a tattoo for it shortly after) and I really hope the closure on the West End leads to a tour so I can see it again.
Thanks so much for the review, giving those if us who couldn't get to be there to get a snapshot of all the love for the show on a remarkable evening. I'm hoping for a London deh soundtrack on Spotify and a tour 🙏❤️
I don’t think I’ve experienced anything like last night, incredibly special and very emotional. Gonna miss this show and the incredible cast 💙
I've never cried watching this show, but seeing it go... That's enough to make me cry

It is regular part of the show.
I was one of the two gents who Stacey Mindich gave a shout out to during the curtain cal!!
So sad that this show has closed on the west end. Wish I could have had the opportunity to go and see this amazing show

I watched DEH last month when I went for a holiday in UK. Tears rolled down my eyes. This show is a masterpiece!
Thank you so much for being there and filming this. x
This makes me cry as well, even though I wasn’t in the theatre😢😢 thank you for the video♡ all the emotions🥲
Thanks Mickey. I can't even begin to imagine what a night that was and thank you for sharing it with us

Wow thank you for this. This way also the overseas fans got a really good glimpse of what the night was about, Sobbing with you I have to admit.

DEH also ended its run on Broadway recently at the Music Box Theater
We did the same. All weekend at musical con with DEH on the Sat night. Also The Crucible on the Friday night
went back in June, what an incredible show. It's a shame it's over but with every end, there is a new beginning. The cast was beyond amazing.

My friend Haydn Cox was an alternate in this amazing show he played Connor and Jared.
Amazing guy 😊
Good to know you love this show as much as we do in the states. Here’s to a long life on a uk tour.
Jesus, Sam is freakin' beautiful.
Love your content Mickey Jo & especially this episode…but must ask is “Dazzles” on any platform to follow ? 😉…thought he was great being interviewed 😀
Really want DEH to come to Australia 😞🥰
That couple behind you at 2:15 is so cute 😍
Why did it close it should keep running for years to come.
I was lucky enough to see it twice my favourite musical of all time.

This and the original cast of Spring Awakening where by far the two best musicals to see in the West End.

Never actually got to watch the show
Oops
Great video! You do seem a bit tired in the video, your passion for theatre is clear to see but don’t forget to rest 👍
Just out of curiosity did they perform with American accents?
I have no clue how you dont get embarassed vlogging in public haha! Im very sad this show closed, i love the music i wish i couldve seen it!

Australia is still waiting for it to open here.....
I think the Movie ruined the show
Did this Evan look younger when he started playing it? He looks 40 now.
and you look 120
rude
@@nicolevenvideos an honest statement, and you react negatively and cruelly.
@@nicolevenvideos it was an honest observation and you reply with cruelty.
@@paulcurran7177 I replied with honesty and if Sam Tutty looks he’s 40 then you need to visit an eye doctor.
The real reason they are all crying is because they are now all unemployed.
