This video is 14 years old. But it still holds a very high value cause it reminisce those nostalgic moments I had playing this game as a Cleric (EP in old version). This video just popped out in my recommendation, so I clicked it. As some say, Cleric(EP) is very low in attack, actually not true. We possess a very high magical attack too, it's just that we are too slow in casting and not as consistent as a wizard(MG) and Venomancer(WF). In other words, Cleric isn't built for pvp, although we are capable as well of doing that. Our main purpose is surviving. Believe me, it's hard to knock down a cleric when they know how and when to use their surviving skills. And a Cleric will be at their best when they are NOT ATTACKING, but instead they keep on healing especially in pvp(duel or war). But in pk, it's arguably a different matter. Now imagine a Sage Cleric with a full Sage Skill Books.
Woo, I love clerics. I'm one myself, and i'll admit, its a tough class to quest with by yourself, although in the long run, once you level up to get really high, you'll kick major ass depending on your build.
@ilovespca94 No, that's a lvl89 crafted sword. The wings/clothes are from the item store :O

I just got 60 Cleric.. I love Cleric 10x more now.. Only think I wish is Regevation Aura was 1 spark not 2.. That skill is really useful and has saved me from death many times. I hope this game keeps getting better.

Go to cleric skill trainer there's one in plume, arch, and sanctuary.

@Nicken987: clerics arent only healers and buffers after all. you will see, an cleric dies easily, but if he hits u in pvp, its gonna hurt, and its gonna hurt really badly ;)

@5swords3 No. The only gender restricted classes are Venomancers and Barbarians, otherwise they wouldn't have the option to change your gender under Humans and Winged Elves.

No, only Barbarian and Venomancer are gender-specific(Male and Female, respectively).

@Leafshinoby - Definitely heard on gender deal, seeing it from both a M>F and F>M view. My friend mains a female because he likes to (not for evil intentions), and while I might main a veno, my alt is a male psychic. Neither he nor I enjoy being flirted with.
I admit, I'm also more inclined to treat female-char strangers better when on my veno... but that's because they wouldn't be able to embrace me. On my psy, I'm more of an overall loner, likely due to being male. =P
Why does everyone say clerics are cheap? If they are so cheap then just remove them from the game right? Oh wait... THAT WOULD CAUSE ALL OTHER CLASSES TO DIE ON A BOSS FIGHT!

from .Hack G.U.? I'd say blademaster since they dual wield swords, but even then it isn't that good of a resemblance.

The most useful job in perfect world, sadly it is the hardest one to play.
Yes, it is. And your most crucial buildups is to increase your Magical Attack as high as possible, and higher than any magical attack characters in your level in the game. And to do that, there are so many things need to be done, and that may include your own pocket money, if you are a spender of course. But if you're not, you need to find teamates who can fully trust you to enter dungeons everytime, which is quite hard too, if they find you don't have enough magical attack in your stats. If you have lower healing efficiencies, you will find yourself struggling in panic at a certain times in a dungeon raid if all your teamates HP falling below 50% so fast . That's stressfull. And if things didn't work out, in the end, the healer will take all the blame, even though part of it, is not your fault.

i think bms are the best at pking. if they build their stats around fists they become fast and lethal. im gonna post up a video of me (fist bm) vs barb my lvl (100) and show how fast he drops

WOW WAT R U TALKING ABOUT??? "tough class to do quest alone" i myself dont have ANY PROBS at all doing solo quests....especially wen i can heal my self....dont really have to worry about hp....and u dont lose mp wen fly lol.....but i kinda get y u say its hard though...its very easy to get hit lol...and thats not really my case since im TANKING by wearing melee armor...and plus i mostly just heal and attack with weap,,,,so im going...FINAL FANTASY STYLE =D
well you should really stick on that game and not on wow.i have played both.wow would be nice for you only if you are a very hardcore player
