Oh my God Kara is getting SO good now! The progress she's made in less than 12 months is astonishing. I sometimes get the impression she feels like she's not progressing but from an onlookers perspective, wow! Go girl!
I love those sort of trails. Official bike parks and stuff are really good, but going down stuff that's just been carved over time feels more rewarding.Probably makes you a better, technical rider i reckon.Awesome video. 👍
We’ve had a few issues with access at mallards so if you see this and go just remember to respect walkers etc as some of the trails cross the fire roads
That's an awesome place Tom...I love those kinds of trails, they're always fun when you hit them blind...Kara was sending as usual! Keep it up guys!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
My local 👍 You need to find Forest Road too, some good fast flow, a few more crazy steep trails and some serious gaps. It's got everything 🤘 about 4 miles from Mallards.
Not to be a dick but that “hard run” would barely be a blue out here in BC Canada. That’s legit what some of our easy blues look like. I know the camera doesn’t do it justice but we have rocks and roots galore to deal with🤘
I ride all those trails. The GoPro does it all no justice at all. For Example that last part of the Blackpool Flydown is basically a 12-15ft near vertical drop. Quarry drop in there's a part before the ridge where he goes through what looks like a little bomb hole. The drop in to that has you airborne because the ground cuts back sub vertical and then requires you to maintain enough speed and control to get up the 12ft+ near vertical other side. While they don't show on camera these are unofficial trails, so there are roots everywhere, clue is in the presence of all the trees. Make a judgement when you've seen them in person. I suspect Tom is a better judge of their difficulty than you.
Paul Bent totally get it still steep but it’s smooth. We have drops just like that but there’s tons of roots and huge rocks, sometimes with only a small 6 inch skinny to go thru. If you have Trailforks have a look at Seymour and cypress. I love the trails you guys have out there, very flowy and fast, the way I like riding sometimes. Btw I have riden mallards pike and Forest of Dean. That’s why I can tell you those would be a blue at the most out here. If you’re never riden the east shore trails here in BC you don’t know what a true black run is. Our easy blues have at least double the amount of roots you guys have on a double black

What's the definition of gnarly? Yes it may be steep, but it's very smooth.
your so cool
seems to me like you were going quite slow. Is that just the camera affect?
Come on man..You looking so fit. So why Ebike ??
Don't ask. You won't understand.
Because it’s fun 🤷🏻♂️
