Another way they could’ve portrayed the backstory is that their mom and dad didn’t die early on but instead die by protecting Muichiro and Yuichiro from the demon

If Yuichiro joined the Demon Slayer he's gonna be the same like Sanemi .
I could see Sanemi and Yuichiro becoming friends after the final battle. Both of them lost their brothers and I think this would be a better ending for Sanemi, because in the original story, he ended up with no one close to him after the final battle. In this new ending he at least would have a possible friend with something in common.
Yeah, I was a bit confused on why he survived. He basically did nothing for the rest of the story, while Giyu aided in the next fight. I think it would be fitting if him and Gyomei shared their final moments together. Then Sanemi could say "Thank you... for training my brother." Gyomei could respond, "He was just as talented as you." Before they both pass
On the downside, with Obanai and Mitsuri, that's too many Hashira to die to Muzan. Gyomei has to die because the mark. Mitsuri and Obanai need to share the same fate. Giyu needs to survive. So Sanemi needed to survive too.

It’s a shame Yoriichi family was killed off, if his brother bloodline had so much potential, imagine Yoriichi’s bloodline, they would probably be born with the full slayer mark if Tanjiro had his mark before becoming a slayer.
Actually thinking about it, the slayers would become far more powerful, since the translucent world, and the mark would probably become a common thing for the slayers, and they would have the greatest potential bloodline teaching them.
Yorichi could have marry some other women and live a life
@@karthikraj432 anime only does that for family drama or just for characters that are assholes. Not to mention, Yoriichi most likely died single, not wanting to have history repeating itself, that, and it was the only woman that understood him. The series didn’t do anything involving him having another partner, so it seems like they have no intention of doing that.

Muichiro was mostly driven by the death of Yuichiro, without that rage inside his body, I'm not sure if he can become a Hashira as quickly as he did.

I think instead of trying to turn Yuichiro in a demon, Kokushibou would cry for the first time, as everything he wanted was to be like his brother, he wanted someone to take on his legacy, and in a moment of weakness he would easily be decaptated by the shinazugawa brothers before the stone hashira could even get there
I think it would be cool if yuichiro and Muichiro develops mist breathing together, seeing as there can only be 9 hashira, since they’re twins they could co-own the position of mist pillar

I'm a bit confused on the 9 Hashira thing. You could meet all the requirements and still not be a Hashira? Also, how does it work for people who create their own forms? Rengoku, for example, is the current best Flame user and met all of the requirements. What happens if another Flame user does that? Mitsuri's Love Breathing is also derived from Flame Breathing, so would she not be a Hashira if she sticked to flames?
I think Muichiro would be much weaker, not stronger, because part of the reason he trained so hard was because the death of his brother made him hate demons so strongly (even though he didn’t remember the event).
There actually should be one more scenario .
What if Muichiro and Yuichiro got saved by an Hashira / Former , would that Hashira Take them And and train them and they use breath styles from them derived from the breath like Rengoku and Mitsuri ?

Good :) but the problem is I don't think Yuichiro would end up using moon breathing as other than Michikatsu/Kokoshibu there are NO known cultivators of Moon Breathing. Sun breathing was possible due to the Kamado's Hinokami Kagura which Yoruiichi taught but Kokoshibu did no such thing so No... NO MOON BREATHING for him.. maybe something else like Flame or Water or just like Muichiro.. Mist.. they'd be called the Mist brothers :).

I've just got halfway through swordsmith village where I am in the season I was introduced to zohakuten
Fact I think make sense and I just realised: muichiro and yuichiro represent the two strongest slayer brother michikatsu and yorrichi, also the first letter in they're name probably also represent who's desedent they are from. So they are like mini koku and mini yorrichi
I feel like Yuchiro would make a breathing style called storm breathing.
For the scenario:
Since the wife of the master is always visiting them they maybe get persuaded and join or the master send a demon slayer to look for the 2 incase something bad happen.
Start:
With your scenario in mind, it kinda hard to say what tokito thrive? Is it to protect his brother? But with his nature i dont believe that he will train to death.
Breathing:
His brother wouldn't probably be able to recreate moon breathing. He will probably stick to something else but him able to discover moon breathing is exaggerating.
Gyokko:
It is doable but them being trap together is hard to say considering they could probably slice the outer layer easily. Though what you said is feasible
Kokoshibo:
Its not guaranteed they will be in same room, although i do understand your point of kokushibo trying to get atleast one of his descendant. But with that i dont see tokito dying since like you said his arms is only the one that got cut not him getting in half like in the original story.
Corection: Moon Breathing Can't be used by any Slayer because:
1- There are no Former Moon hashiras
2- The Only Moon breather in existence was Mishikatesu(Kokushibo)
3- It's Said in the story, or in a QNA that Moon Breathing is too diverse for anyone to be Able to Learn it, Because of the 16 forms, and the fact ur blade needs to be able to Change sizes fast to be able to use Almost half the forms

Both Yuichiro and Muichiro use Mist Breathing and straight up in synced with their Mist breathing, making it double the obscury of the mist

Technically I don't think he has the same movements as kokushibo but his breathing being "variant moon breathing" as well as the dance of the fire god is a variant of solar breathing.

alr so nice story and all but someone of this is wrong cause yuichiro would not have moon he would have something like mist breathing like his brother but it be fog breathing also the two tokito brothers would not awaken there slayer marks in swordmen cause there even stronger with each other and muichiro is weaker like you said but...he's weaker then his normal self if his brother still died but in the tengen arc ( forgot whats it call) tanjiro zenitsu and inosuke would not be there but yuichiro would go on the mission with tengen so yuichiro takes daki's brother and tengen take's daki so yep at final battle upper 1 would not try not to turn yuichiro into a demon and THEN they awaken there slayer mark so 1 more slayer to fight muzan! hope you like my story!

No offense but Michikatsu AKA Kokushibo never thought anyone how to use moon Breathing, not even his descendants. He was the only one who knows how to use it. So it wouldn't be possible for Yoichiro to use moon breathing
