Just bought the Multiac Steel HG. They are discontinued but I managed to get a new old stock. Wow, what a guitar. I’ve had the A6 Ultra and loved that as well for its sound. In my opinion, nothing comes close to the acoustic and electric combo like the A6 Ultra. The Multiac takes it to another level in terms of variety and complexity of sound. The tape echo and the lyric internal microphone give you some many options for jazz, finger style, strumming, etc. I don’t need two guitars at gigs. It does it all. It’s a bit heavier than the A6 but not dramatically so. I just love this guitar and the quality is amazing from fret work to fit and finish. Love the inlay, headstock that you can clip a tuner and a capo on it. It’s a great looking guitar as well and it really sounds great through a PA. I the lipstick pickup with the tone on full gives a nice warm lead sound from breaks and power chords, comping. This one is a keeper.
Hi Tim, I am now struggling between godin multiac steel and taylor t5z. And I’d love to here suggestions from someone who might have played both. Can you please give me some personal opinion on them, which one do you think is better? Thank you
@@ihavehippopotomonstrosesqu9860 I found the t6z and the fender offerings to be OK sounding at best at either electric or acoustic sounds. The godin sounds good on all fronts and head and shoulders above the other two on acoustic sounds. IMO, of course. Still loving mine and added a LGX-SA to the mix too.

Beautiful playing. IMO these have the best tone by far of any of the multi-axes out right now. I tried super hard to love the t5.
