Nice! I got my 4k in last week and just uploaded an unboxing + first fish vid myself. Absolutely in love with this reel! Just subbed to you, keep it up!
hey bro i saw your review about this saltiga, i forget to ask you about this question, servicing your own reel are we capable of doing this? as i heard some rumors "it needs to be sent out to the daiwa service center because of the special tool to open the body". how true was it? thanks
@@bihordz7253 So I haven't serviced this reel yet, but every couple years I send my nicer daiwas and shimanos to the company for servicing, never been a problem for me so far. But I'm pretty sure that little guitar pick looking piece of metal that comes in the box with the saltiga is that tool you're talking about.
@@fishingislife34 The Stella felt like it had more flex in the shaft/spool of the reel than the salting had. The salting also holds the smoothness way better than the Stella did and is way better sealed too. This is coming from someone who was a die hard Shimano guy and my dream reel was the Stella too. To say I was disappointed in the Stella is an understatement.
If you could only have one would you choose Stella sw or the Saltiga? I’m trying to decide between the 2019 Stella SW XG vs the 2023 Saltiga 6k. Great review and thanks in advance 🤙🏼
So far, my saltiga has held up way better than my Stella did. Actually Stella started having issues after about 6 months of use so I sold it. Have had this saltiga about a year now with heavy use and its still like new.
Wow you got a very good voice, you should work to review products and get commission. But why did you buy Daiwa Saltiga 2023 just to catch bass? Isn't Daiwa Exist would be better?
Can this survive saltwater splashing or even dunks? Looking for a smoother, longer caster in comparison to my VSX.

Should i go for 6000 XH or H model? Since i’m doing a bit of everything, inshore casting, bottom bash, rock fishing and others. Thanks in advance.🤝🏼
I’d go H
If you want the best light reel you should look at the exist...!!!that is as light as the ones you have for bass with the best technology...
This is a delightfully small reel. I am wondering this or the Exist 4000/5000 for shore spinning. The Saltiga is quite a lot heavier.
I actually just ordered a second one today! Used it yesterday for mangrove snapper and absolutely loved it.
I found a gap on the bail arm opposite the line roller about 1-1.5mm. Is this normal?
Why did u go for the not the hx
Thanks! Got me the 6k XH.
have you got any big fish on that reel?
Nothing huge, but caught a few 3-4’ sharks, a few 25-30” redfish, and some 18 or so inch sheepshead’s. It’s been a great reel so far
How do you like the saltiga 23? I want to get my hands on one.
It’s awesome! I love it so far. Haven’t had much use it with yet though
Which reel according to you is better stella or saltiga
Hands down the saltiga. I sold my Stella because it felt like a toy compared to the saltiga.
@@CrankinWithChristian why? What is the difference?

Saltiga no doubt. I didn’t care for my Stella as much as the saltiga. The saltiga is just overall a much better reel.
Thanks!
How much the price
Look it up no offense
What's up with the magical disappearing dog on the porch?
I was waitin on someone to comment this 😂 it was a spot I had to edit the video and cut a part out where I opened the door to let him in 😂
The mq body cant hold a worshaft. This is going to get less longer casts than stella

I’m going to be using it for inshore fishing, not bass. Just like collecting reels!
For such expensive reel, its a shame they cant make a drag sound nicer
I guess tastes are different
I’ve never understood why people focus so much on about such a trivial thing as the sound on a fricking dragclicker. Quite juvenile if you ask me.
