We didn't have all of these available, but got to sample what we had, including Alfredo's, and the Ocean Terrace. We didn't try the poolside options, but everything else! We loved the food! And we love the new logo, too!

Thanks Scott! We do sail Carnival… but we just love to experience all cruise companies, ya know?! However, you might find us more and more on MSC in the future… we are quickly becoming mega-fans of this up-n-coming line!

Thank you!!! What food is included depends on which package you book… we have our “Beginner’s Guide to Princess Packages” coming out this Sunday 1/28 and it’ll have all those packages broken down for you in an easy to understand format!!! 😊
How far ahead of time do you recommend making reservations for one of the casual dining choices? I hate to make a reservation then not be hungry at that time.
It really depends… a day before will usually be enough to guarantee you a spot. But sometimes they just get busy and that may not be enough. Totally understand your dilemma, but at venues with limited seating, it can fill up quick.
hi! thanks for the informative video! what would you say was the best casual dining on emerald? i’m going on a cruise soon and got the princess plus package so it unfortunately only comes with 2 casual dining meals per cruise :( trying to decide which 2 to try!
@@swaggymcjaggy it depends on the ship and what casual dining is available! We loved the Salty Dog and Planks BBQ best but on some of the newer ships there is also a pizza spot. Also if you love a place, it isn’t terribly expensive to dine there again.
Well I would definitely say it depends on the itinerary you cruise… we had a much different experience cruising Caribbean than Canada. Noticeably different guests.
Yes! I just got off the Emerald Princess cruise from Boston to Quebec. At 65 i was the youngest person on the ship. It was horrible. Long lines for everything. No one dressed for dinner. The food was fair at best.
Those Premium Desserts... are they more 'eye candy', than actually good? It looks like it would be a sloppy mess, in a warm climate! and it is not 'real' ice cream either...what did you think?

They weren’t bad at all… there’s some gimmicky toppings, but overall it’s a fun little treat. Probably kids would love them wayyy more than we did. 😀
The food sucks.....even in the places that charge extra money.
Sorry to hear that, we have found that while sometimes the food lacks sparkle in the buffet or MDR, it never was bad. Sorry for your experiences
