I'm actually surprised he dedicated himself to basketball at all but kudos to him, i can respect that.. but he just ain't hungry enough, he never was..

    Jaylen Brown just won a championship and is one of the best players in the league. No reason his opinion shouldn't be valued as much as Lebron's. I averaged 20 points per game on 60% shooting (there was no 3-point shots) and I think that Bronny could not have taken my position. I was a better dribbler, rarely turned the ball over, took better shots, and definitely played better defense, shot 90% at the FT line, and understood the game better than Bronny. Was always about LeBrons ego and constant need to elevate his legacy beyond his peers past and present. He knows that he'll never surpass Kobe and MJ in terms of greatness so goes after pointless milestones to hopefully put him over the edge and make homers think he's the GOAT.

    This is why you never, ever say anything out in public that you don't want to become public. The camera man could have dome the right thing and cut away, but messy is gonna be messy. For all those that said Lebron did the right thing, you were absolutely wrong. It was nepotism that cost another deserving player a spot. No matter what you say, it wasn't right and no father that truly cared about his child's development, would have done it. But Lebron has shown us who he is and it not someone with integrity. The Lakers caved and it was sad and pathetic. For this reason they will not see a championship this decade. I lost all respect for the Lakers and have not viewed them as a real team since. I understand wanting the best for your child, but actually teaching them to earn their position and place in life will always be the most important. Fame is a cruel mistress. She either loves you or she hates you. In this case, she has no interest in Brony. In my opinion, Lebron set his son up for failure and it was cruel.

Bronny plays like he is a dude from Africa that first saw a basketball his junior year in high school; no shot, no feel for the game, and he is undersized, not fast enough for his size (you can be 6’1” if you are blazing fast, he isn’t), not crazy athletic…The only way Bronny could be a pro with his lack of physical gifts would be if he was a Steve Kerr guy shooting over 50% from three…and Bronny is 1-20.

    Major kudos to both Jaylen Brown and Charles Barkley for having the king kong nads to speak their mind about something obvious and glaring. Far too many sports talking heads and current or former players have bit their collectives tongues so not to get on the bad side with the faux king in the kingdom of Lakers. Yes, junior is not a pro, and barely made a ripple coming off the bench at USC. In addition, it was his dad and the influence of Nike that got him chosen to play in last years McDonald's All American squad. So yes, nepotism reigns supreme here with prince James who is being exposed with a real rookie NBA pro player like Dalton Knecht. But none of that matters since papa James got what he wanted and could care less that his son is not worthy to have been drafted.

    Why did Bronny rush to the NBA ASAP? As the son of a billionaire, he had no economic need. His lone college season was underwhelming and marred by a major health scare. Clearly, he could use at least a couple more years of development, at USC or elsewhere, before joining the world's top basketball league. He'll have a very hard time earning respect/playing time in the NBA when he's clearly only there because of nepotism. LeBron is still playing at an all-star level with unprecedented longevity, so he could've played with his son at a later date, if that was important to them. The Lakers could've spent that draft pick on a player better able to contribute. Rushing Bronny to the NBA doesn't make sense for anyone involved. I don't get it.

    • @lucsonelysee5988
      @lucsonelysee5988 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It made sense for Lebron. He wanted to materialize the dream of playing with his son. He orchestrated the whole thing just to satisfy his ego. That's why I don't blame Bronny, he is a victim. That was cynical from Lebron, knowing them well the kid is not ready.

    • @derrickscott9469
      @derrickscott9469 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lucsonelysee5988 Lots of people get career pressure from their elders and then decide to go in a different direction. Bronny is a legal adult who can make his own decisions. He's an over-privileged grownish guy with a helicopter dad, perhaps, but far from a victim.

    just like jeremy lin after he went to the rockets, bronny isn’t in an offensive scheme that allows him to flourish. he’d be much better in team basketball in europe. he might even be dominant over there. american players in the NBA have to be super athletes to excel in the american style of basketball, which bronny does not have. increasingly though, euro ball is going to infiltrate and dominate the NBA
