Tum mera chain ho jana mera araam bhi tum

Main maseeha hoon agar mera wazeefa tum ho
Main hoon mujrim meri jaan mera ilzaam bhi tum
Mukhtalif heelon bahano se mujhay sochtay ho
Aik din khul kay pukaaro gay mera naam bhi tum
Jis se roshan mera aangan hai tum hi ho woh chragh
Sach to yeh hai keh tum hi ghar ho dar-o-baam bhi tum
Raat din tum ko faqat tum ko mujhay sochna hai
Meri fursat bhi tumhi aur mera her kaam bhi tum
Yeh siyasat bhi ajab khail hai bholay panchi
Yahan siyaad bhi tum ho to teh-daam bhi tum !"
