- The Israeli military claimed eight rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel's port city of Ashdod. As per the IDF, the rocket barrage was fired from central gaza, an area not yet covered by ground offensive. The IDF stated that two of the eight projectiles were intercepted by Israel's air defense system. The rockets caused panic among residents, with people scrambling for cover on the streets. In retaliation, IDF struck Hamas’ rocket launching position that it claimed was used in the barrage. Watch this to know more.
